At 1:30 p.m., a number of local and regional candidates had qualified for the upcoming primary election, according to elections supervisor Anita Reid. All of them had previously announced intent to seek election or reelection.
Ronald Smith, district 4 school board incumbent, qualified Tuesday morning.

Who ever gave you the "WORD 12:55 did not nor do they know what they are talking about. I have said I would be running for re-election as commissioner for the 2nd district and that is what I intend to do and only that.

If no one is running against an incumbent the best way to send a no support message is simply not to vote for them..sends a great message
