As the Obama administration enters its second year, I -- and undoubtedly millions of others -- have struggled to develop a shorthand term that captures our emotional unease. Defining this discomfort is tricky. I reject nearly the entire Obama agenda, but the term "being opposed" lacks an emotional punch. Nor do terms like "worried" or "anxious" apply. I was more worried about America's future during the Johnson or Carter years, so it's not that dictionary, either. Nor, for that matter, is this about backroom odious deal-making and pork, which are endemic in American politics.

Then we will be an occupied country ruled by an alien force. Who do you think is going to fill the ranks of the civilian defense force he wants to create? And don’t forget, he wants this civilian force to be as powerful as our national armed forces.
When Israel finally does hit Iran and gas goes to $6 a gallon and the economy tanks, that’s when Obama will make his move.

Rural GA? Lamar County is only 40 miles south of Atlanta. This is not rural GA, this is the suburbs. I’m not sure where you live, but you need to get out a little more. A lot of people here in the south totally get it! We see the power grab the Dems are engineering. We people around here tend to be individuals, not the vote buying entitlement class Obama’s trying to buy off.
I’m sure my idea about social progress is much different than yours.
First, 9/11 and the movement for a worldwide caliphate, then 10% of our sounthern neighbors living illegally in our country, and now a president who has telegraphed repeatedly that we are no longer a part of the old England-Canada-Australia coaliton. We are now in tight with Venezeuela, Cuba, Russia -- has BO ever met a dictator he doesn't like?
He is a third-worlder, not an American, who knows enough of our customs to copy them and enough of our attitudes to emulate them, but he does not think as we do. He's much worse than our first affirmative action president which might have brought us together. He is our first anti-America president and he is splitting this country apart and then directing us away from our natural, freedom-loving allies.
And on top of that, he's a Chicago-style thug.
Yes, Americans are full of fear, and here in Georgia, I have had people tell me seriously that 1) Barack Obama is the anti-Christ, 2) National Health Care means we will all have chip implants, and 3) blue-helmeted troops from the U.N. will be patrolling our streets once martial law is declared. This is crazy, paranoid stuff.
I wish there would be a Democratic Revolution in Georgia. Maybe some of the fear-mongering would stop.
When politician allow corporate America (or corporate the rest of the world) to make laws, steal, and do what they want unfettered from moral or legal restrain, it is OK. No one is paranoid then. When a foreign oil company tells our government an extra safety precaution that only costs $500,000 on a $500 million dollar oil rig isn't worth the investment that is OK.

The way you talk you don't realize that the Gov. of Greece had to print money just as This Regime is doing to the people of this country. This Republic is 230 and some change.Each time a Republic has had a downfall, was due to 2 reasons. One it gave women the vote. They have a tendency to want security, more than complete freedom. Two- groups of people learn to manipulate the system by block voting to take money away from those that take the chances with their investments and make wealth by earning it .Taking from one that earns it by the use of force and giving it to those that set on the porch is perfectly O.K. with people like you. If you think this man is doing a great job as you lead to, why are you in the mindset he will be a one term president? Could it be that deep in your heart you know it's a disaster we will be paying for, and my great-grandchild as young as she is will not see this debt you agree with , be paid. Trillions and Trillions now. Whats the next number up? I don't think I have ever heard it. I guess I need to learn it soon.
Aside from this, I agree with most of your points.
We were stupid with the following--Great Brittan-- Australia-- Turkey-- South Korea--Poland--France , I just can't remember all of them. There was a list but I can't say how many. The point being we were not alone by no means. There was training camps on the border going into Syria for Al Qaeda fighters that were taken out. We freed people from wood chipper deaths, we freed women from reap rooms. Now the people will risk death by terrorist attack, because these stupid people gave them the right to vote and pick their own leaders, not let a mass murder dominate by killing every one that did not agree with him. Mass graves-numbering in the 100s of thousands of bodies-whole families snuffed out including children. I am sad you think saving millions of people from a murdering maniac is a bad thing.

What are you talking about? Who is Iroc and who is "he"? If you are talking about Iran and their president, the USA got us into that mess. We supported the Shaw of Iran when he was murdering and ruling Iran with an iron fist. It's similar to how we trained and financed Bin-laden and now he turned on us. When we are dishonest with the rest of the world, it stirs the nuts all up.

Nonsense. Global warming was not concocted by one person, and the data was not changed. NASA and every other independent scientific agency and group in the world all agree we have global warming, and an unheard of 90+ percent agree man is a major player in the change.
The big scandal you are thinking of is based on a fellow who emailed other people he knew trying to get everyone on the same page to present a uniform argument. This happens every day when people believe in things. It was investigated, and no wrongdoing was found. It also is one person out of thousands of people in agreement.
One could argue the Bush White house, after marking up and editing reports on global warming to change the strength of the wording, did even worse.
Seriously, I pay taxes just like most other folks, and I applaud the president for his attention to important social justice issues. He was elected by a majority of Americans, and a majority elected a Democrat Congress. You all might disagree with their agenda, but there is no nefarious plan to trample your rights. It's just an honest disagreement over how to solve the problems our nation faces.

You are correct when you say the majority elected your pres. I have a problem with his type of social justice. Take from those that have made the plans of a life time, and give to those who do not plan anything. Obama's social justice is splitting us apart. when I was in school, and reached the age of know-it-all, I had all of the worlds problems solved, and everybody else was dumb but me. Especially the people over thirty, because no one could trust them. As I got older I was amazed at how smart their ideas became. It couldn't be that my thought process had matured somewhat. The point being--Obama was elected by a slogan of "A change you can believe in" with a media who preached of a god like man that will cure all of your problems, and we will fundamentally change America forever,and all walks of life believed this garbage, especially the young know-it-alls that voted for the first time ever. I do believe the dumb masses that were taken in by this man are beginning to realize, someone that has been in a elected position for approx. 180 days does not have the smarts to run this country. If you followed politics,and was aware how he was elected, you may be smart enough not to think of this man as being god like, as the media has bombarded us with. Obama and the election board had all of the candidates running for the senate seat, disqualified so he was the only on that ran in the race. Even that was a new low for the Chicago style gangster politics. Please, if you ever vote again, have the curiosity to dig in the background of someone you wish to give the reigns of this country to,not just one or two 10 second sound bites and take that as being the gospel. I had to learn, you can to, if you will get over being nieve. Never take a politician's word on anything, but dig,dig,dig in their background and see how they have voted on things in the past, and you should get a good idea of how they will screw you or be a good leader and promote our constitution that was given to us by the way of WAR, which you benefit greatly. When you read all of these first amendment thoughts you should be proud of the men and women that gave them to us,and fights for us to keep this precious beginning of our constitution,with the Bill Of Rights, that belong to every man,woman ,and child in thes United States Of America, (Legally) Please don't take my word, but read them for yourself, and maybe it will generate some curiosity in you. They had folders on all of Cuba's leaders and they were to take them out for the invasion that was blotched by Kennedy, and was the results in a large number of freedom fighters being slaughtered. There were plans on the table to kick Russians out of Iran and Iraq,but I guess you know the rest of his(Kennedy) history.

Point being we have had influence in Iran since the time of FDR.1942 Republicans and democrats alike. If we as a nation did not have involvement in this area, there would not be enough grease to put on the wheels of progress for our own economical survival.

Global warming is a lie.The scientist that dreamed this up have confessed to the lie,not just the one e-mail there are bunches if them. If there was this crises the United Nations, along with the Obama Regime,would have already put us under Cap And Trade, which would be a disaster for every American--even you wee wee.
History needs to be told in it's entirety. There are some facts and figures that need to be added but due to the length of the history we have in the region there is not enough time or space to answer all of the mistakes we have made as a nation. Remember our country will continue to make mistakes,but it will be the indirect choice the voters make when we put people in office to control our direction---choose wisely wee-wee. There may not be enough affordable gas to go around.
