Diamond Trojans in playoff action Friday

The Diamond Trojans will open play in the first round of the GHSA Class AA state baseball playoffs Friday afternoon in Bogart. Lamar County (17-9), third seed from Region 5AA, will take on North Oconee (23-2), second seed from Region 8AA, in a best of three series.
