One year after a devastating fire destroyed its sanctuary and ancillary facilities, Antioch Baptist Church is making tentative plans for a late summer grand opening of its rebuilt house of worship.
Fire ripped through the church’s Yatesville Road complex on June 10, 2009.

I know the building doesn't make the church, but I hope they don't build one of those mega-monstrociies that doesn't even look like a church. It would be a shame. Antioch was such a beautiful building before it burned. Would have been nice if they'd rebuilt it kinda like it was before. The old country church looked so welcoming.

Good job Lamar County and Barnesville firefighters. We need a full time paid firefighters with the firehouse. Pastor said please prayer.
