Barack Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within

What a name. You dont mean Tom Rauch do you?
-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care . . .?
Do you deny that health care costs are spiraling out of control and threatening to seriously harm individuals and small businesses. Something needed to be done. I don't agree with the cobbled together solution that the health care, pharmacy and lawyer lobbies paid for (you do remember it was Congress that wrote and passed these bills). I would much rather have seen legislation that outlawed the rampant profiteering of insurance companies and the others. But our gov't sold the public out and put the burden on us. By the way, do you not know you are currently paying for all the uninsured every time you go to the doctor or hospital or pay your insurance premiums. I disagree with the solution, but I believe we need price control and regulation, which is really MORE socialist than what was enacted.
-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, . . Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC)
How does this benefit unions?
-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? . . .. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.
First off, this is not going to happen. Secondly, the PR as state movement has been around long before Obama came along. Isn't PR driving this?
-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America .
Wow, wasn't the conservative icon George Bush trying to do the exact same thing. Where was your criticism of him trying to make a socialist country? I disagree with this option personally-but then again I do like getting relatively cheap vegetables in stores (thankfully they are picked cheap so the big farm industries can make their mega profits and the regular Americans can eat cheaper). This certainly does not help unions as it depresses wages.
-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go?
Another failure of memory here. It was the Bush presidency that began the bailouts. It was the Bush administration that poured money carte blanche to the big financial institutions while requiring little or no accountability. And the GM debacle also began during Bush admin and was a leftover for Obama. What choice did he have other than letting them fail. By the way, GM has begun repaying their loans, too bad we can't say the same about the financial industry top whom Bush and the republicans gave the money away.
-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators.
Hmmm, most taxes have gone down recently, even for small business owners. Maybe they will go up, they will certainly have to with the rampant spending begun during the Bush administration and continued now during the sell out Obama administration. Eventually everyone will be paying the piper. As for the high-income earners, did you realize the US has pretty much the highest proporation of wealth concentrated in hands of a few ultra wealthy that most any other country. How do you defend CEOs of corporations making 100 millions of dollars in salary and bonuses when their firms are enjoying tax bailout dollars or their workers are being laid off and becoming a burden to taxpayers?
Honestly, this rant is just as absurb as the ignorant conspiracy theories about George Bush and his administration we were all hearing a few years ago. Too bad reason has flown out the window on both sides of the aisle.
Our financial idols (WTC) were attacked in 2001 by a group of terrorists that are smart enough to know they cannot beat the U.S. militarily. We play into their hands by engaging in two wars that are slowly bankrupting us and then in 2008, our economy "unpredictably" collapses. Now the U.S. is at war with itself over people deciding who to crucify for the mess..the terrorists are laughing at us.
Our delayed reaction to putting this information together as led us to blame the current President who is dealing with a crisis that began many years ago but people are just now figuring out and paying attention. I guess as long as an old white man is in office, its not officially a crisis. Sheep..not just any sheep, but slow sheep.
If you people do not know who Harry Truman is, take a U.S. History and Economics course. Try Gordon College.
