He is employed with The Toombs County Sheriff's Office as an investigator. He began his employment with the sheriff's office in January 1999 where he was assigned as a Jailor at he Toombs County Detention Center. He worked as a Jailor until December 1999 then went to Basic Law Enforcement training in Savannah Georgia and was assigned to the Patrol Division in November 2000.
I read in the Georgia code that Georgia uses the official spelling of "Jailer" in the legal definition of a Sheriffs Jailer. I think I'll stick with that, and the majority of the others that do too.
When I went through detention officer school at GPSTC in Forsyth, they taught us it was spelled "Jailer", and all carriculum and official documents and such stated "Jailer". I would presume it is as such.
I guess some don't know any different, or don't care if they spell it correctly or not. Big deal.

Besides, it is not only commonly spelled, but also pronounced "JailEr", not JailOr", why try to be difficult?

From what I know of you (and believe me, there are plenty of horrible stories floating around that do not paint Johnny Jones in a very favorable light, and from highly reputable, unimpeachable sources), I don't think you know anything of accountability or responsibility. You may have us on the reliability thing, as we can always rely on you to provide us with hilarious tales of your bravado, moral turpitude, and impeccable parenting skills. What gets me, though, is the fact that nobody mentioned your name, or even vaguely referenced you, but yet you came out swinging, and haven't shut up since. If you recall in the courses on psychology and human relations that you obviously excelled in, these are the tell-tale signs of a guilty conscience manifesting itself.
Rest assured, Mr. Jones, that we have met before, and I know that it's just eating you up inside to know who I am.
