Members of Congress and other so-called political gurus are to be congratulated. Once again, by using spark-igniting words like "ultra-liberal" and "extreme conservatism," they have managed to move the public spotlight off themselves, off their own inability to lead the nation, and onto an issue for which they are wholly and personally responsible.

Congress just doesn’t care about the immigration situation. This country, from the beginning was about maximizing profitability. Tackling the immigration problem and establishing structure could very well curve productivity. Most business I have worked for don’t want an established human resource structure because it means they also would have to follow their own policies and if not could be made liable for not doing so. It’s just too easy to provoke anger among the little people by saying Pedro going to get your job. I don’t see how what happen on 911 has anything to do with our southern border.
The hijackers didn’t speak Spanish.

This will be fun..... We gave land to the indians and don't make them pay taxes, and we pay for there health care and there schooling and give them money to live on. No one seems to have a problem with that. Now that that has been said look at little know history of the U.S. Mexican relationship.

After the Monroe Doctrine was signed ( saying basically do not mess with any country in the americas) The U.S. ignored it's own Doctrine and allowed Texas to be in Cahoots with the States. (Which by the way Texas was a mexican State that allowed americans to have land on the condition they obeyed mexican law, converted to Roman Catholicism and learned Spanish.) When the Mexican war happened the U.S. took California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and parts of Oklahoma from Mexico. Again Ignoring our own Monroe Doctrine telling the World don't mess with the Americas and it's countries.

So we stole the land from them, and now complain that they want to live here and are not doing the right things to live here. Does anyone see the irony in the fact that the Arrogant Americans move to Texas did not do the right things in order to be able to stay there and now we complain that they are doing the same thing. History is a funny funny thing isn't it.

If you are not happy with the U.S.A. And think we stole anything from wetbacks we can arrange for you to be on the next flight out. We need jobs in America to go to American citizens and not individuals who bring crime and drugs into our country. Wise up and stop feeling sorry for the mexicans.

Hey numb nut, where does it say he is not happy with the U.S.. Looks to me like it is history. Get a clue!!!! its really easy for people to sit around and say if you don't love it leave it. It seems to be a standard answer for to anything. History is history and you can choose to ignore it but you your self can not rewrite it. And by the way the last time you or any one you know were looking for a job how many applications did they put in at a farm to pick fruit and vegetables all day, or to do work most of you think is beneath you.

We paid Mexico 15 million dollars for the land; we stole the land from the Indians. Show me where the govt. supports Indian Nations.

Illegal immigration is against the law. Those breaking that law in the United States are considered criminals. It is also a slap in the face to those immigrants that come into the Unites States legally. If the government elects not to enforce one basic law then they should render all laws garbage. Why make a law that the government cares not if broken.

If government doesn’t want to do the job of enforcing the law then turn the justice system back over to the private citizen. The one leaving the argument alive wins the debate. Open up the jail doors and tell them all that there is no law in the United States because the federal government wants to give some criminals special treatment.

Round them up - send them home, At election time send leadership home too. For good!

Well we just slap CEO's on the wrist for ruining the lives of thousands of there employes, Does that mean we should just let it happen, I mean we don't punish them
