Lamar County's 7 and 8 year old allstar softball team has advanced in the winner's bracket to the second round of the Dixie Darling State Tournament in Butler.

If our girls go to Texas( which I hope they do! GOOD JOB GIRLS!)....how will the County pay for this?...thought they were cash strapped at the moment.

Hopefully this community would come together to help raise money for these kids to go represent our County. Its called "Supporting your team". Fundraisers,ect.
Great game yesterday, hopefully a repeat today.
