Mary Nicholas dead at age 83
Mary Nicholas who, with her late husband Romeo Nicholas, operated Romeo's Department Store in downtown Barnesville for generations died July 14 at age 83.

Sophie and Patti, I met your mother at Belks in Griffin a couple of weeks ago and it was good to see her and have a chance to talk with her. Your Mom and Dad were very nice to me and my family and I will always remember them as some of the first merchants I met when I came to Barnesville. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

To Mary's Family, I did your mother's hair quite a bit and loved her. She was a mess and I loved to hear the tales she had to tell. She will be missed.
