Judge Tommy Wilson has made authorities aware of allegations grand jury proceedings which were supposed to be closed were monitored on the courthouse's security camera system.

Security camera system are not always so "secure", it they attempt to the privacy.

How are We the citizens supposed to feel secure in our communities and our civil duties when things like this can happen? Maybe this is an example of why people who know things about murders, rapes and assaults will not come forward. The citizens need to know they will be protected when they do so.

oh no,not waller and his cronies. they would'nt do anything like that.everything in lamar county is above the table.this too will get swept under the rug by the good ol'boys just like everything else that gets too close to the ol'boys network.one day though, one day real soon it will all come out.

he doesn't say anywhere in his post that waller put the cameras in there.your the one jumping to conclusions.maybe its YOU that has the man crush on waller!well thats OK.anyway ,i myself think waller would do something like that or have one of his staff do it.

Read post #7 Wally...Waller is the 4th word in that sentence. Was that not implying he and "his cronies" had something to do with it or would either hide who did???

This should not surprise anyone. My neighbor had his phone records checked by the SO as part of his divorce. They spy on everyone.

Do you think they can just check phone records because they want to spy...OH my Gosh! Where do you retards come from??? I think they have to have a warrant and have to provide that to the phone company or something to that effect. Companies are not going to turn over info unless they legally have to. I bet your neighbors spouse has a good lawyer and is making a great case of infidelity or something to that effect.

There use to be someone who went through their employees cell phones because they were so paranoid, but that is different and there is no need to get into that.....

Are you sure it was the SO checking the records and not your neighbors wife trying to find out who they were calling? Let me guess you have first hand knowledge of this too. You sat there and watched the SO go through their phone records. There has to be a reason to get phone records they just are not handed out because "Oh I think I would like to see their phone records". Your neighbor's wife probably had reason to think that he was putting a dipstick somewhere else. Also if your married to someone and have access to the bill guess what you can get a copy of it. I can get a copy of my husband's cell phone bill anytime I want it. Quit watching so much TV everything on TV isn't how it actually happens.

I believe there was enough evidence to true bill Smith. I believe there is enough evidence to true bill someone in the Johnson murder. I believe there is enough evidence to prosecute a postmaster around here for crimes. I believe IF there is evidence to show anyone was peeking in on private court proceedings, they should be held accountable.

Of course, I am just stating my opinion. I was under the impression that our justice system was here to hold people accountable for their actions and, in turn, provide an adequate deterrence to others doing the same thing in the community.

I think when people complain, it is because they want answers. When they do not get these answers or are blown off they begin to wonder why. Sometimes I feel we are not taken seriously by those who represent us. Some get so frustrated that they feel they have to kick up dust for someone to listen. And it all could have been avoided if someone would have just listened in the first place.

Well I dont think you can accuse Waller with jury tampering or it would have been true billed. That case still blows my mind.

Anyway, do the cameras have sound?

Man, that Smith fella just won't stop. He really is oblivious to the crap pile he already stepped in. I can't wait to see how the former inmates civil rights violation issue will affect him.
