YEA WOOH!!! THEY GOT ONE!! OF HOOOW MANNNY DO THEY MISS EVERY DAY? THEY GOT A DRIVER BUT WONT EVER GET THEBIG MEN? WHY? BECAUSE TEY ARE ALL INTERTWINED WITH OUR GOVERNMENT!CONGRESSMEN,DIRECTORS OF DEA, FBI, AND EVERY OTHER BRANCH OF OUR GOVERNMENT! YEAH GOOD JOB !!!!!! (VERY SRCASTICALLLLLLLLY WRITEN GOOD JOB...
Excellent job Sheriff Waller. You have really raised the standards of the Sheriff's Office by brining in quality people. All the citizens of Lamar County should be thankful for the job you and your deputies are doing.
"this is why we have a couple of deputies on the interstate. Great job. Lots more out there every hour though."
Yeah, and what benefit does Lamar County receive from this again?
Right here is a perfect example of where costs could be cut. Lamar county is well on the way to insolvency and activities like this should be first to go.
If there was cash involved, the county keeps a good percentage of it. Further more, this gets 40k x2c pills off the street. These things can do serious damage to your body especially your back.
It's apparent you are an idiot. Those interdiction guys have seized over $300,000.00 in drug money this year alone, which is used to purchase items for the sheriff's office, pay for vehicle maintenance etc...thus SAVING the tax payers money! Know your facts before you spew your ignorance. Excellent job Sheriff Waller and Deputies.
Everyday these officers put their lives on the line to keep us, the citizens of Lamar County, safe. I commend the three interdiction officers that work I-75. Thank you for doing a great job. God Bless you and every law enforcement officer.
Yeah, great job! Now lets get some of the drug dealers off the streets of Barnesville. How is the Aldora St. drug prosecution going. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of white trash!!!!
Kinda like "Whites commit just as many crimes as blacks" ...Sounds PC, until you consider that blacks are only like 21 percent of the population. . . .
Reason:
Probably Black or Hispanic. Has out of state tag (TX, FL, CA- Major Drug moving states). Probably did not look directly at officer( looks like he is fighting to not at deputy). The deputy probably saw a minor offence( tag light, failure to maintain lane) and stopped him. In my mind it is profiling but as long as they have a legit reason to stop him, it is legal. Ooh, and sometimes( not sure if this applies to LCSO, but DEA gives a hush-hush call to say this vehicle will be traveling between point A and B.) But Congrats to LCSO on a great bust.
If some of the people making comments had an IQ rating as low as their negative remarks, it would be about a 12, I say thank you LCSO for a job well done. Helping to bust a major drug pipeline is far more impressive than trying to enforce litter laws.
"Helping to bust a major drug pipeline is far more impressive than trying to enforce litter laws."
In case you aren't keeping up on current events.
The county is virtually broke. 24/7/365 enforcement presence on 15,000 feet of I-75 makes for great press releases and back slaps from the Feds, but who the hell is paying for it?
What benefit does the taxpayer of Lamar receive from this event? Nothing. Larry Waller is looking mightily pleased with himself in the photo on the other site, beyond that I can see no benefit at all.
Why do people burglarize homes, rob stores and commit theft? Here's a thought! To buy drugs to support their habit. Drugs have just been removed from the street and a major operation uncovered. Do I need to go further, or do you brainiacs get the picture? Great job Lamar S.O.
Aint it funny how changing a topic can take the attention away from the real problem of runaway local politicians overspending and tax hikes. I think the attention span of twelve of you would fit on a six inch ruler.
It is just hard to believe someone carrying that much illegal product would knowingly have an expired tag. He is either really dumb or got really played.

So, while I am paying taxes to have my property protected by the LCSO, they are busy keeping drugs off the streets of Miami Florida.
Do I understand that correctly?
Instead of Waller's bunch protecting my property by patrolling in the immediate area, they are on I-75.
Do I understand that correctly?
So in effect, I am paying taxes to have drugs taken off the streets of Miami, while the property I am paying taxes on goes unprotected by the people I am paying to do so?
Do I understand that correctly?
Maybe local law enforcement needs to concentrate on l-o-c-a-l criminal activity and stop hunting press coverage. After all, people in Miami Florida won't vote in the next Lamar sheriff's election.
Ha Ha Ha, nope according to the latest news release looks like you are paying taxes to murder suspect Jennifer Clark. So I guess you got your wish and local law will now concentrate on l-o-c-a-l criminal activity! Ha ha ha!!
How would two deputies make a difference patrolling the county? It wouldnt matter if there were a hundred deputies per shift, they still would not be able to patroll all neighborhoods. It didnt happen when your buddy was in office. It is impossible. It is impossible for the BPD. I say get a life and move if you have a high crime rate in your area. Better yet call the SO, let them know thiefs are running amuck in your neighborhood.
The SO will get money from that bust. They get to keep the car and money if it were found. Not to mention getting a large amount of drugs off the streets in miami or where ever. Do you understand that????Do you understand that the more they bring in, the less you have to pay? At least money isnt being wasted on new uniforms, new guns, new cars, bucket truck, motorcycles, and most of all training cost. Lets not forget the revolving door when your buddy was in office.
As far as trying to get his name in the paper, at least it is for something good the SO has acomplished. It made the news too. I bet that really pisses you off. Also, if I recall correctly, your buddy was in the paper a lot. He tried to toot his horn all of the time. And is still doing it. Look how many times he has been in the paper recently. Does that bother you? Personally I could care less.
last time i checked there were only one or two officers patrolling that area of lamar county... then they call for back up... so before you start rambling about your property not being protected know who is out there first... and if you are so worried about your property all you need to do is call the SO and they will step up patrol in your neighborhood
We need patrols out on the pike county / lamar county line over near The Rock Road. There is a Sadistic, murdering person who feels comfortable enough over there that he's been known to dump bodies of hog-tied and raped women. If it was a man that hog-tied, raped and murdered male cops, would he be in jail by now? Would the FBI be called in by now?
Maybe they should take his money and drugs and set him free for another try at it. We can free up the prison space for a real criminals. You can not stop people from self medicating. Look at all the "law abiding" people who get drunk to run away from life. It's only "OK" because the law says they allow it. What makes alcohol any better than ecstacy or pot or coke?
I wonder if he'll get more years in prison than Edgar Frye got after he dismembered a boy. 7 years and now he's ALLEGEDLY got a new name in Florida and is an accountant.
legalize it..all of it brotha. A cat that gets arrested with a bit of bud or a few pill is in prison with real criminals. The only victim is the person being locked up
Well now your town is screwed. With that much missing exstacy, the price will go through the roof, soo.... Now all the addicts in your area must committ MORE crimes to pay the higher prices. Idot lawmakes. Focus the law enforement on violent crimes. Simple rules of supply and demand. I learned that in marketing class and I'm only 17yo. Legalize weed! It's the only drug that doesn't kill. And make my MN state health insurance cover it if I need it for more than just recreational use! PLeASE
I was coming to Lamar county to visit my family last week and on I-75 3 LCSO cars had 1 car pulled over. I was wondering how many LCSO officers are actually on duty durring a week day because it looked like most of them were out in I-75 performing a traffic stop.
And if my parents call for something it still takes an offer a minimum of 30 minutes to get out there for anything. What about the residents that the LCSO is supposed to be protecting and serving. Nice Job on the bust but don't forget about those that are in need of assistance from the LCSO.
Most people who use x are not violent people who steal and kill for a "fix". MDMA was first used as a drug to aid in therapy and was quite successful. The drug then began to flood the club scene were it was consequently made illegal. Fortunately it is slowly making its way back to therapy and several studies have recently been approved by the FDA. http://www.aolnews.com/surge-desk/article/fda-oks-study-of-ecstasy-as-treatment-for-ptsd/19559540
I find it ridiculous that the average person sees all drugs as bad..funny how alcohol isnt a big deal. Sadly its all cultural and not intellectual. People love to say *insert illegal drug* is terrible without any real knowledge of it.

Maybe they could send us some money?
Say, how is the Aldora Meth house case going?
Yeah, and what benefit does Lamar County receive from this again?

Makes a great press release, but who pays?
What exactly peeked the officers suspicion to pull the guy over? Was he speeding or anything like that?
This the link to the WSB-TV news channel report... Very good report!

Profiling, aka the racial version.
Only a matter of time before this county is sued for the practice.
Oh sorry, "wonder sheriff" assured us he can defeat any "frivolous" lawsuit sent his way.
He didn't mention who would pay for it (...you) regardless of who wins.

Good job deputies. Glad to know one more piece of crap is off to jail. Isnt it nice to know the sheriff has your back! What a change.
In case you aren't keeping up on current events.

Wonder how that bucket truck buice bought is working out....lmao
