Jennifer Clark (right) shows her contempt for the judicial process at a hearing earlier this year. Now she wants you to hire an investigator to help with her defense.
With Lamar County near broke and vast numbers of the property owners who pay all its expenses in near the same boat, murder suspect Jennifer Clark wants them to pony up cash to hire an investigator for her defense.

She knows she's guilty, we know she's guilty so why does the courts keep messing around, sentence her and be done with it.
Someone should do to her what she did to him !!!
were you there and witnees her commit the crime? if not then you need to keep your mouth shut and stop judging ppl! i dont think she did it and i think everyone deserves a fair trial!!!
And Thats what I'm saying. Do you know first hand that this is true, I'd say NOT, Or would you have been there and you know more..And not what has been wrote in this Paper or Blogs, So
that is NOT exactly how the criminal justice system works you idiot...the law is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. If you think you can do better or faster, then why don't you go to law school & get a job practicing law instead of wasting your time making an ass of yourself of this blog.
I say that since she is "innocent until proven guilty" let her have it.
Then, if she is later convicted, make her pay it back with interest in the form of HARD HARD labor.
Since if convicted she should face life in prison, imagine how much more she could give back to the community with 60 hours of labor per week for the next 40 or 50 years.
T minimum wage rate, what one would have to pay for the work anyways, this would sum up to 435 per week.
Now multiply 52 by that, and she would be giving back 22,620 per year.
Multiple that by 40, 904,800 is what she would have given back to the community over a span of 40 years.
I say this is a GREAT investment!
As a matter of fact, maybe the chain gang should be brought back everywhere! That alone could get us out of this economic depression! Counties could put prisoners back to work, save taxes, and give the savings back to the community by lowering taxes!
The judge should say "Sure, we will provide you with the investigator, IF you sign a statement agreeing to this stipulation of 60 hours un-paid labor per week until released if convicted".
If she truly is innocent, she will sign knowing she will most likely not serve time. If she is guilty, I bet her first reaction would be HELL NO. Then the judge could say "Oh well, so sorry, you do not get the investigator".
She already admitted she did it. Don't waste taxpayers money by paying her attorney fees and jail time. The evidence is already more than enought to put on death row. That is what needs to be done.
Are you serious? Let the bitch rot in hell for what she did. Or better yet how about let her walk the streets of Barnesville and just see how far she gets, let the citizens be her investigator, judge and jury!
We've probably been paying for her the majority of her life anyway. I say its time to stop... IF You admit to crime why should we have to pay for your defense? And while we are on this subject, it's no secret that the state is in a financial crisis. Well we have jails and prisons full of people that are capable of working and some actually want to work. Lets go back to having them clean the sides of the roads they look horrible. That could save thousands in cost to the state. And don't give me any of that cruel and inhuman punishment, that's BS. Jail should never be a free ride....
This stupid girl knows she did it and admitted as much. Then she has the gall to disrespect the court with her actions. They just need to go ahead and sentence her and get it over with. STOP WASTING TAX PAYERS MONEY ON THIS P.O.S.!
I will pitch in with ya.... Hell i put her in it, strap her down, and pull the switch. Save lots of money on personel, dont even have to call funeral home to come get body, i will take it there on back of my truck, hell i will save alot of money for the people, i will even embalm her and bury her. flint river will hold that ass down.
I feel she would not ask for such a favor, if her attorney hadn't
suggested it, she would not have taken that position. I feel the Attorney, who ever it is, since already being paid by the Taxpayers, should reach in their pocket and pull out the money to pay the investigator. Leave the Taxpayers out of their scheme.
Hidden racism. We are talking about Jenifer right? Why did we include the other person in the photo. Hidden racism. The photographer could have taken Jenifer photo alone without including the other lady.. We are not stupid.. Was the other lady asking for the taxpayer to pay for her defense? Did she kill anyone? Is she guilty? Then why is she included in the photo?
I call sexism. Lamar County Sheriff's Office is sexiest. Force female inmates to wear pink cuffs is degrading and wrong. Do they have blue cuffs for the male inmates??!!!?
Ha! You think. Google Sheriff Joe in Arizona. He gets respect too because he damands it. Nobody told these people to break the law. They get what they ask for.
They made sure her face was in the photo. They cut the photo at the edge of her face as if they want both to be seen. However the article is only about one individual. That's the only photo that should be in the article.
I'll bet if Walter was in Clark's shoes, broke from a future divorce and wanting to unravel a case built on threats and intimidation, then he'd ask for an investigator too.
Lord knows the last ones weren't all that neutral.
Dear Mr. Fears, Please remove my name from the list for this charity event. I have already given for Jennifer Clark's public defender, housing, utilities, medical expenses, and meal plan. I, like so many others, have already given to the likes of the Brian Nichols 'life tour' and simply cannot afford to give at this time. Perhaps when our Founding Fathers' plan for swift justice is reinstated, I will be in a better position to give. Please check back then. Thank you.
Let the woman out if that's what she wants.....
There will be citizens awaiting her release and I would bet some the Clark family would be one of the first on hand to greet her.
I cant even believe we we are having this blog/conversation. Let the murdering bitch have her investigator, but only if she agrees to abide by what an IMPARTIAL investigator finds. I am afraid that she might have some recourse, or say her side wasnt told, and this piece of crap might walk, or someday walk among decent people. No telling these days. Whatever ever it takes to make her pay for her crimes i am in favor of.
What the 7734 is wrong with the judicial system.
I agree that if she has already admitted to the crime then she doesn't deserve a trial sentence her and be done with it. Put her and the rest of the prisioners out on the side of the streets and county roads and let them pick up the garbage that other garbage throw out. Prison life is for punishment and that is exactly what should be done PUNISH. Turn the 7734 upside down.
To much to tell Honey. You will also be mighty shocked at who wrote an actual letter to the editor. Timeline shown on front page about Donna. Mighty interesting.
Speaking of that timeline, Walter, I have a problem with it. It left off the time when the ambulance stopped at the courthouse before taking Donna to the hospital. Why did it go to the courthouse first?
Get real people. She won't be doing any outside labor in prison. She's a murderer. The most she'll get is dorm orderly or maybe a line cook or something. And if she plays the cripple card she won't even have to do that. She'll never be productive anywhere. They need to give her the death penalty and be done with it.
Why doesn't the county let Sutton, Melton and Taylor pay for her investigator? Hell they are bringing their dogs to work with them to let her baby sit them. Bringing her milkshakes from Dairy Queen, putting money on her books and getting her facials and dying her hair for her....Hell the girls got BEANO in jail for christ's sake.. How is she getting all this special treatment? They call her Princess and I know all of this to be true because I was in there with her.... Question Sutton about bringing her dog to work? The Black girls that killed the baby are in the cell with Clark and they will talk about all this special treatment if asked.they certainly didn't like that dog in the cell every day and threatened to kill it.There are other inmates who know she's getting contraband in there too that will talk..Daniels, Craig and others
Someone should do to her what she did to him !!!
Where are the stones?
