Didn't see your last comment but I guarantee there is nothing you can say that would hurt my feelings. I'm like a duck. And I don't have anything to do with the moderation of this blog. I just write the sports as I see it.
By the score, I take it that Lamar doesn't have a kicker. Special teams win football games. Just watch every saturday and sunday and read the scores on saturday from friday night football and teams lose by the score of
7 to 6 and 13 to 12...
I was there and I will say the kicking game definately needs some work, but the team seems to be very well coached so maybe the coaches noticed that and don't need advice from some dumba$$ wanna be coach on a blog!!
He makes a good point. We are going to need a kicker. We are going to match up closely to a lot of teams in our region which means a lot of close games so we need a kicker who can kick PAs in the 90% range and who can kick at least 35 yarders.
Don't worry about our kicking game. We'll be fine and if things get a little off center, we'll call in the old ball coach to put us back where we need to be. Somebody get LeeOtis on the line....
