Yes there really are people who really need assistance. But the number is small compared to those who abuse the system. You are the ones that had to have 4 and 5 credit cards, how many people of color walking around with credit card debt in the tens of thousands. We didn't have access to that much credit but you all did. You all were getting over but nothing last and nothing is free.
You all are mad because you got to get down in the trenches and grind for every penny like the blacks and mexicans. The days of watching us work hard for you while you had it easy on the job is over.

May I ask how I benefited from slavery? Ive never met a slave nor has anyone in my family. My grandparents and their grandparents worked their own farm...no slaves. I have also had family who worked at carters. They worked two jobs then and took care of thier family. Just to let you know, I have a job that I am thankful for. I could care less what you have. What I do care about is Welfare fraud and my tax money paying for it. Is that too complicated for you. I dont own a flat screen or 3 cars. But I pay my own way. I am paying for my kids college...NO HELP FROM THE GOVT!!

I don't think ANYBODY should more back than they paid in. I don't care how many kids you have or if you're married or what. It's a shame that I pay in 3k and get back $600. It's a shame that i'm penalized for not having illigitimate children. This same woman has one baby daddy who is in prison for dealing drugs, one who is currently unemployed and probably deals drugs since he always has money, and one who lives with her and doesn't work b/c she makes money and they can live on that refund check for months.
They live in nice Section 8 apartments, drive a 2 yr old Impala and an old hoopty with rims and a sound system. She always has money for hair and nails. Their 4 yr old son wears $100 outfits. It's ridiculous.
This is what's bankrupting our country. We're rewarding people for being lazy or irresponsible. The Bible says, if you don't work, you shouldn't eat. I am ashamed that our country allows people like this to abuse us this way. It's like an abused woman who takes it and asks for more. And it's got to stop! It's time our country stood up and said "NO MORE FREE HANDOUTS!!!"

the 'people of color' don't have to have credit cards because they get everything FREE! If they didn't, I bet THEY would have WAY MORE credit card debt than WHITES do.
I am WHITE and have had ONE credit card to buy washer, dryer, stove, frige when they went out because I couldn't pay full price at one time for them. Not like some people I know who can do this and they DON'T have credit cards. They can do this because they have everything HANDED to them.

I also believe there are people who truly deserve assistance for a period of time but not permanently. If you do work and pay taxes you should be just as upset about the abuse that is going on. You cant make it right by bringing up slavery or credit cards.

Because its clear to me that the majority of the bitchin' is because you all are in over your heads in debt, and the working poor and welfare are still living day to day like they always have WITHOUT CREDIT.

You have gone out there and ammassed tremendous debt: big houses, big cars, big credit card balances, and your mad because OBAMA didn't bail you out like he did the banks.

I find it sad that we, as citizens, both rich and poor, are arguing and pointing fingers as to who is at fault, when the folks who set this whole mess up to begin with, laugh all the way to the banks that they own.
This country has been virtually bankrupt since 1933. The cause of said bankruptcy was when a group of "elite" bankers and businessmen gathered in Jeckly Island and proposed a plan to take over the control of our country's currency. Through deception and corruption, they succeeded to do exactly what Jefferson warned against. That if the country allowed private banks to control the nations currency, our children would find themselves penniless and homeless.
It took the Federal Reserve banks 20 years to bankrupt the country. We, as Americans, whether, black, white, brown, yellow or red, have been slave to the mega banks ever since.
John Rockerfellar once said, "competition is a sin." This right before he hired mercenaries, (the Pinkertons)to massacre small cattle ranchers and their families who refused to sell him their land.
Later, his grandson David, would write in his published memoirs and I must paraphrase, that he stood guilty of trying to control the country through debt.
Since the Federal Reserve system was instituited in 1913, we have seen nothing but endless wars, increased taxes and decreased liberties...the latter of course so "they" can keep us safe.
We are told by both political parties to consume goods we really don't need. We are told by both to relax, "they" are in control and "they" will save the day. We are led to believe, through the major media, owned by the same banks who cheat us, to watch Oprah at 4 and drink beer and watch football on the weekends. We are told FOX is "fair and balanced" and CNN is "most trusted" and we believe because they told us.
While Rome fell, the people were given bread and fed endless games at the colesseum and they remained blind to what actually was happening around them.
There was a time in this country when it was shameful to be in debt. Today, if you have no debt and/or credit, you are considered a second class citizen.
So, as WE THE PEOPLE scream and point fingers at each other as to whom is at fault, the actual culprits continue to plot and conspire their next move to further sink the rest of us into deeper slavery.
It is time that we come together as Americans whether it be blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, rich, middle class or poor and fight the monster created almost 100 years ago called the Federal Reserve. Until we do, we will continue to argue and the Federal Reserve will continue to manipulate a broken system unitl WE are no more.
I do believe however, that we need a sweeping change in the way business is done here locally, statewide and nationally. Locally, I would strongly support someone who believes in strict adherance to the Constitution of the United States. I do not believe that has been the case of late nor probably in a very long time.
I believe in term limits for all. We must elect people that don't see themselves as leaders of the people but as public servants. WE THE PEOPLE elect our fellow citizens and turn over certain powers to them so they may serve their fellow citizens. It is my opinion, this power that has been handed over, (both locally and nationally) has been abused. The citizens must object to the slightest act by anyone, of violating the liberties of the people. Term limits would greatly halt this feeling of superiority with the people we elect.
I would support someone who refuses monies from the federal government. Just as the feds have been enslaved by large banks and corporations by taking loans and contributions, (which WE THE PEOPLE end up paying back with huge interest) locally, by taking money from the federal government, we become the slaves of both the federal government and their masters. We must declare ourselves a sovereign county and state, as the 10th ammendment allows. We are a sovereign people and the sooner the powers to be understand this, the sooner they will either leave their posts or adhere to the will of the people they serve.
The Constitution tells us that the Sheriff's are the most powerful elected official. I would support a Sheriff who is a Constitutionalist.
There has been much discussion on this sight about crime. According to the Constitution, the Sheriff has the power to organize a militia. The Sheriff has the power to allow open carry in this county. I would support both of these proposals.
Deputizing trained volunteers, (like volunteer fire fighters) is a plausible alternative to hiring more deputies. Said volunteers could do much of the work paid deputies do now, allowing mandated deputies to concentrate on more complicated law enforcement duties.
I would support a Sheriff who didn't accept Federal monies for new vehicles or special training. Once you do this, you become a subordonate to the feds. I say, not only no but HELL NO!!!!
I would support a Sheriff who did away with road blocks because some paid off federal judge said he can do it. Why should I give up my 4th Amendment rights because law enforcement thinks I might not have a licence or they think I may be driving drunk? Just because a judge says it is good, does not make it lawful according to the Constitution of the United States. We have seen the subtle incrementaion of our liberties being taken away. It has gone from road blocks, to metal detectors to now being full body scanners in airports, full body searches where our women's breast are being fondled, where our children are not allowed to board a plane because they have the same name as someone else deemed to be a danger...all under the guise of keeping us safe.
Lastly, I would support a system where it did indeed help the poor. If you need section 8 housing...no problem. The county has plenty for you to do. There are roads to be repaired, here's a rake...you're going to help. Do you need food stamps because you're a single mom with 5 kids? Here you go. There are services you can provide to others. You can help deliver meals to the elderly, help them shop.
If you think you can sell your vote, spell the word "that" "dat"...hey, I'm not going to judge you. But I'm not going to support you either partner. But if you have fallen on hard times and need a hand up, I'm right there for you brother.
There is a wicked wind stirring up out there folks. We must gather together and prepare for it. It is not time for false tribal rituals like painting your faces and cheering for a bunch of guys throwing a pigskin ball around, pounding your chest in triumph. It is not time for our women to worry about what size dress they are fitting in or our children wondering if Britney Spears is wearing underwear of if Lady GaGa is a man or a woman. We must gather together as a community.
I often think about the term "going forward". Perhaps it is time we consider that going forward might actually mean going backward to the way some things were...going back to liberty and freedom....going back to standing up and being a real men and real women who stand up and be counted for themselves, for their children, for their fmailies, for their communities and for their country.

If you are getting entitlements then you are no better than a SLAVE the only difference is that you don't have to work for it. At least slaves worked for theirs.

Doctors – I think you are wrong. I’ve only experienced democratic doctors involved in politics and usually because they lack the understanding to practice medicine.

Populated Areas – People looking for free government hand-outs tend to congregate. Reverse question: What locations are in the most economic trouble? Answer – Major populated cities where people congregate to seek free government handouts.
Rural Underdeveloped Areas Of Republican Right Wingers – Location of the tax base and hard working, liberty seeking, people. Why?
