Trojans trounce Owls in 'hoot-out'
The Lamar County Trojans beat the Owls at Columbus 32-8 with an interception return for a touchdown and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Lawrence Austin scored two touchdowns for the Trojans.

I wouldn't say all that. From what I saw Friday anybody can beat us. Special teams has got to improve. We can't expect our defense to survive if we give the opponent the ball on the 45 yard line on every kickoff.

2 tds came defensively?....this is scary! so our offense couldnt move the ball but to score 3 tds offensively against a team that allowed 63 last week?....methinks we got our only win of the year!

The team, Carver Columbus, they lost to last week is a AAA region champion that went 6-0 in their region and only regular season loss was to Northside Warner Robins, a AAAAA school. No way we could we beat Spencer by a similar score. Carver is now in our old 5AA region. Will be interesting to see if they dominate it.

and Carver beat top ranked Buford 14-0 last night. I would say they will dominate Region 5AA and probably win the AA state championship.

And do you know who last year's A state champions were? Wilcox County that beat Bleckley. They could probably beat most AA teams!

Does Nick Heminger participate in any other sports besides football? What class is he in...? Sounds like from his performance, that he is a good athlete.
