This name was NOT left off the list. Intentionally, unintentionally or otherwise. That report is compiled from a list of people booked into the jail prior to the paper's Friday noontime deadline. Mr. Ramsey was not booked into the jail until after 12 noon on Friday prior to the print edition of the paper he was "left off of". His name would have appeared in this week's print edition anyways. But the people who he is alledged to have assaulted have made it their life mission to humiliate this man and defame his character so they called the sheriff's office complaining that he wasn't in the paper and the sheriff's office, in turn, jumped the gun and singled him out which even adds more to this vendetta against this falsely accused man.
1.1: If it want not on the list, it WAS left off the list. You are correct in saying that Mr. Ramsey was booked in after the noon deadline for the print edition but here is a little time line for you.
-Mr. Ramsey was booked in on Friday, Sept. 3rd sometime after 12pm.
-The next print edition was Tuesday, Sept. 7th in which the arrest report states for the dates Saturday, Aug. 28th through Friday, Sept. 3rd.
-Mr. Ramsey's name may have been omitted from that list due to the noon deadline as you stated....BUT
-The next print edition was Tuesday, Sept. 14th with the arrest report dating Saturday, Sept. 4th through Friday, Sept. 10th.
-He was NOT on that list either, therefore his name was left off.
-On Thursday, Sept. 16th, the online BHG showed 'Sheriff's Dept. adds name to report'.
-On Tuesday, Sept. 21st the print edition of the arrest report dated Saturday, Sept. 11th through Friday, Sept. 17th did list Mr. Ramsey's name.
I don't know who you would be referring to that 'called the sheriff's office' complaining about the omission but as the facts show, the name was not turned in when it should have been. With the deadline in mind, the name should have been in the next print edition dated Sept. 14th not the last one dated Sept. 21st. It has nothing to do with vendettas, it has everything to do with justice and fairness. If ANYONE does something to be arrested, their name needs to be listed with everyone else's. Grow up and stop playing games. This was no accident. As far as your comment about being 'falsely accused', it looks like everyone will know the truth soon.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH snap. Here we go. Ofcourse it was left out. This is why the public must speak out about things and demand stuff. It would have gotten swept under the rug otherwise.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe it was just a mistake? Everyone makes mistakes...even you. Not everything is a conspiracy. Atleast he was arrested, if they were trying to "cover it up" then maybe they would have just let him go. Sheesh!
Do you really think that this was a mistake? Do you really think this is the first name that LCSO has left off of a list on here or in the print edition? It happens more than you think. Open you eyes and smell the coffee. Depending on who it is and how much money and bribing they do, the name misteriously dont make it.

A pillar of the community huh? People wear many masks.
The truth is that when I did live in B'ville I had no grief with Reid. He did run with what some would call the biggest looser in B'ville though. But that was a very long time ago when most people called me a looser as well. I guess I was being sarcastic.
Maybe you need to read #13. At least that blogger has knowledge of the law. You on the other hand have little/no knowledge of the law or think that you and your friends should be exempt from them. By the way, I love the way you give away your identity with your statements!
#13's blog does not prove they have knowledge of the law. Only proves they have knowledge of cutting and pasting. My six year old can do that. Maybe this person is a mental giant.

Yay! I have been christened as a mental giant because I can copy and paste!
Been in Barnesville all my life and have yet to know who he is!!!
What's the big deal? we all know that there are crooked law enforcement people every where.
You people are seriously stupid. How many more conspiracy theories can you come up with? What a thankless job they have, dont get paid ---- and have to put up with as***les like you. If some of you think you can do the job better, then go and apply.
He rides around in a white van with ladders on the top. It says Ramsey painting or something like that. Its kinda hard to miss him. Probably 6'5 330lbs or so. I think he had a chance to play pro baseball years ago. Not real sure what happened there. Nice guy as far as im concerned but people have different personalities behind closed doors. Cant really tell who is who.
Which crazy or fool are you refering to him dating. I think there have been a few around here. LOL

THANK YOU!!!! I think some of the people around here needed to see that. Now if we can just get them to understand and enforce it. Doubtful though, seeing as how we live in the "good ole boy" county. One day, this town is going to see the truth about our local "saints" and it ain't gonna be pretty. It may be much much sooner than people think too.
#13.1.1 Explain how "a woman put herself in a man's position" in this case. It appears that you know nothing at all about this case, otherwise you would not have made that statement. You may want to do a little homework before you make comments that don't apply to a case.
That's fine, continue to make uneducated comments due to not being informed of the facts. It only goes to show that you entertain yourself by trying to upset people. Not this time! Better luck next time.
Why are you so angry? If you don't want to do a little research, just don't expect your comments to be taken seriously. Pure laziness on your part I suppose, but that only goes to show what type of person you must be. By the way, ignorance and laziness are NOT admirable traits.

Every parent should understand the difference between loving your child and enabling your child to continue with bad behavior. Sometimes it takes tough love to show a child true love. I don't think this mother knows the difference. She needs to also understand that because she is a former officer, she will be "held to a higher standard" because of her knowledge of the law.
I believe this! An officer or once was an officer should be held at a higher standard, but all should obey the law regarding if an officer or not..but one knows the law. Therefore, by this mother/father knowing the law and constantly contributing to allow their son to continue his behaviour she/he should be held accountable as well. The parents are not to blame for a child's behaviour we all have choices as we become adults..but if the parents give a pat on the back and use their law enforcement background or their okay for the bad choices to prohibit such actions then the parent or parents are protraying a double standard. How old is this man anyway? Has he always lived here in Barnesville, GA and why hasn't the justice system ever made him pay the consequences of his wrong actions? It seems to me that there are several questions that needs to be answered about this man "Emmett Reid Ramsey." Where was his mother or father a law officer ator at now? If he is a felon as the below statement what kind of felony? Where does he work or does he? Why was his name not added the first go around of arrest?
Sheila and NOT Sheila, please watch this case closely. You will see unbelievable corruption and blatant disregard for the law. It will answer many questions you have about unsolved and unpunished crimes. It will also answer your questions about who is really in control here.
That is a good question. A lot of people are curious in why this person's name was left off the list. And how does one person continue to do the things that one does at that age or any age and have a mother and officials who condone the actions to try over and over again to bail the person out? Strange and sure hope the truth will come out through all this...and that this person will not be allowed to hurt anyone or get away with the actions that continue to occur.
Sounds like the woman in this case is posting a lot on here. Anyway....it is really sad when people over 20 still have to have mommy and daddy take care of everything for them.
Youd be suprised who stalks people in Barnesville. We have had a local psychopath running around for years spying on people and spreading gossip. he makes voyerism his profession.
NST, you are very right. The problem with these people is that when they don't get caught or they continue to get away with it when they do get caught, they become more dangerous. Protection was sought in this case and the courts here have now provided that. Oddly enough, I hear that a former LCSO employee thinks that the Judges decision is a 'travesty'. That was JUSTICE. The Judge did his job.

Do we have to wait until then to find out??
And no one will stop either of them.
Very sad indeed.
