Lamar County property owners may dodge a feared second ad valorem tax bill that has loomed on the horizon for months, according to Governor Sonny Perdue.

Louie, sounds like Obama has made a believer out of you. Time will tell. Listen now for the tax increases on struggling businesses, who are suppose to give everyone jobs. Time will tell.

I own a struggling business and federal tax breaks don't mean a thing one way or another. The taxes that choke us are local taxes, not federal. The local taxes are constant if I have customers or not. The real problem is the lack of sales we are having anyway, not the federal taxes. If you took away all the taxes for me it would not matter without customers.
The people federal taxes affect are the people still making big money. The cheap b---- still making money don't want to pay anything.
