Good!!! He shows what type of SCUM he really is! Not only did he take the video, but Lied about too!!What a waste of a human being! I hope he NEVER works as a firefighter again!
I think this was done correctly. I recall during the administration of Sheriff Joe Buice, a person trying to take pictures of an alledged suicide, and the Sheriff made this person leave. I think that is correct. Nobody wants to see that kind of gore, plus it is, in my opinion disrespectful to the persons family. I would assume those who do need to see this type of picture probably need professional help.
I remember that too. It was a self-proclaimed "reporter" from that other web site news place. They raised hell about not being allowed to take a picture.
Tread carefully there, there are laws in place that protect people whom take photos on public property. If a law enforcement official tries to interfere, they can be held liable. The courts have ruled in several cases that photographing things in public are NOT illegal.
This is absolutely horrible. This guy deserves to be fired and a lot more. He had to know that this would get back to this ladies friends and family. I cannot imagine the added grief this has caused. Its also sad the entire Fire Dept has to suffer because of this idiot. There are a lot of great men that work there and should not be put in the same category.
If any of his fellow firefighters had knowledge of the video's existence then they should be fired as well. How would he feel if someone videoed his wife being rapped? The situation is different but the emotional result would be the same. I hope the family sues him and the county for damages.
i was wondering why all the news media droped this story so fast.it just got pushed under the rug and quited down real fast. now i know, the dude is black.
Oh yes, and he has a lawyer. I would not be surprised if he plays the card and quietly gets his job back.
Reid???? Isn't there a city council woman with the same last name? She is also related to a county commissioner. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm very interesting
What do that have to do with it? Because he can afford a lawyer. He violated no one's rights but he should not have filmed it because he were doing a civil duty. I record peoples with my cell phone but I don't show it to anyone. And that is where he messed up. Showing it off.
He shouldnt have lied about it. I dont think he violated any rules for filming the accident scene, although it was a degree of disrespect towards the family.
I have read and heard a lot about this...a lot of people are going back and blaming the former chief that retired in March of this year. Done blame him, blame the man that is in charge of training those guys.....Oh..he is the one in charge now. And dont play the race card...you will stir up more that you can handle!!!
Another agency reported on the number of reprimands and suspensions Reid has had over the years. If the allegations are true, this man must have figured he was bullet-proof and could get away with anything.
