Between Saturday, Nov. 13 and Friday, Nov. 19, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:
Alycia Marie Morton, 18, Stone Mountain, affray;

someone doesn't accidentally touch children. he made a conscious decision to become sexual with a child. there is no telling who else was in his path and didn't tell.

You cannot be serious. This predator's family and children need to know the truth. What in the hell is wrong with you? I would hope that everyone that knows this man knows of his sexual offender status and can govern themselves accordingly around him especially their children.

I wouldn't stop loving them, but I would make sure they were not coddled and comforted. I dang sure wouldn't be taking up for them on the local news site. And a mistake is forgetting to sign a check, or forgetting to close the gas cap on the car....molesting kids isn't a mistake. If your family thinks so, you all need your head examined or does your tree not fork?

Brian Keith Denton, 31, no residence given, failure to register as a sex offender and providing false information;

everybody in milner knows this supposed to be registered perv practices his craft at Lot 8 in bedsole trailer park where he lives off his momma and daddy. denton cant function on the outside. its just a matter of time til he is back in the joint.he is weird.

he is definatly stupid enough, just not mean enough. Most all of his charges are drug related. I dont understand how you keep getting passes on this. Its a criminal offense. The county needs to quit accepting info from people to get out of trouble if they are gonna keep on living the lifestyle they do.

I am surprised at the large number of persons, who are not from Barnesville/Lamar County, who are on this list. Why do they come her to commit crimes? They get caught, so I guess that speaks for itself. Why dont they stay at home and commit their crimes there.

Can someone help me out here? When the report states "no charges listed" and "serving time", What does that mean?

The first sounds as if they were doing nothing wrong the other sounds like they were already incarcerated.

"No charges listed" means Geiger got the statistics before the officer had warrants taken out. You have 72 hours to take charges against someone. Could be that the investigation was still ongoing when the weekly report went out.

"Serving Time" means they are serving a mandated sentence directly from courts. Usually child support people serving 30-60-90 days.

Probably has to do with them giving info with no charges listed. Informant probably. Serving time is probably someone who has to do weekends in jail
