While it is probably not the motivation, did it ever occur to you people that this person jut might be desperate and in dire need .... there are many people out there who don't have the money to buy food....it is still not a reason to rob a bank, but don't be so quick to judge.
You know their are a many of people out there who are going through tough times. To rob a bank, store, or anyone isnt going to get you far. There are several solutions to getting help for yourself or your family. Some peple just need to stop being lazy and get out there to look for a job or help. There are jobs out there and yeah they many not pay much but its a job. Just got to look for them it may not be what you want to do but its a job.
Times are hard for everyone except maybe the government assisted people. But it doesn't justify stealing. If you really need it there are legal ways of getting it. It may not be what you WANT but don't go taking something from the person who worked to get it. You are not entitled to take other people's property!! Get out and pound the pavement and get a job to support yourself. True it may be a menial labor job where you really have to earn your pay but at least it will be honest.
I was not condoning or justifying the robbing of the bank. There is no excuse for that. But sometimes, desperate people do desperate things. And if you think that government assisted people have it made, I truly hope that you are never put in the position of having to ask for help. It is demoralizing and makes you feel worthless. And there are many people who have always been self supporting having to ask for help now. Have some compassion.
There aint no compassion for the lazy folk who think they are entitled. I work a menial labor job so that I can pay taxes to the government assisted people. I am tired of doing without while the EBT people eat high on the hog. If you don't work then you should not be entitled to all the luxuried the working people have to do without. No I have never had to ask for help because I have more pride than that.
You are very fortunate to have that menial job. There are many people trying to find any type of work, but for every job posted, there are many, many people applying. I am sure that there are people who take advantage of the system, but there are many more that use it only for a lifeline when there is nothing else. And they are not "lazy folk" who think that they are entitled.
I repeat -- I hope you never are put in the position of having to ask for help, but if you do, I hope it is there for you. Once again, have some compassion for those less fortunate than you are. There are many people in situations today who also have pride, have worked hard all of their lives, lost those jobs and can't find another one and have run out of options. Do you want them to starve? And as far as pride goes-- "pride goeth before the fall".
anyone seeking employment. here is some free advice and a guaranteed job. Go to a 3 week trucking school such as the one in forsyth. They will hook you up with acompany. The company will pay for your training. You will be out on the road in a couple of weeks running 2000 to 3500 miles. Here is your paycheck. There is a major shortage of truck drivers. They advertise weekly in all the newspapers but people constantly look over there and play dumb like they dont see it. Lots of people are hiring. LOTS OF PEOPLE/ BUSINESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may suck and it may only pay 8.25 hr but by GOD its a job. Beggers cant be choosers. I am fortunate to have a job and it would kill me if i had to take a $13 per hr pay cut but it must be done. Dont have the attitude " well im making that on unemployment". Screw that. You are sitting on your butt is what you are doing. It dont matter that its the same amount as unemployment. You are supposed to find a job. The first one available is the one you need to jump on until another comes open. This is why mexicans have taken over. They will do any type of work, do it good, and for a cheaper fee.
