I have been profoundly blessed over my lifetime.

My parents raised me right. They did likewise with my two brothers and sister.

My wife, Laura, is my biggest blessing and she blessed me with two wonderful daughters whom I love and cherish.

I had the same procedure on my sinus' a few years ago.
After they removed the packing you spoke of I had 2 black eyes.
Good for alot of laughs.

I had nasal surgery way back in 1981. I too had that packing, and yes, it was extremely painful upon removal. I about passed out from the pain. The surgeon had said he couldn't do all of the surgery at that time, and the second stage was yet to come.

Thirty years later, that second stage still hasn't happened. That packing removal was enough the first time.

I had sinus surgery last year in Macon at ENT Center. They don't do the packing anymore, they use a stent which allows you to breath until they remove it a week later. Recommend this highly!

Just to be clear - Gordon College never changed its admission policy. It was changed by the University System of Georgia and applied to all the two- and four-year colleges in the system. It was actually done at the request of the governor, who wanted an artificial way to increase SAT scores in the state by not requiring it for those students likely to score lower. The change back to requiring the SAT is also a system-wide initiative, and a good one, I believe.

I hope this new year brings good news on the work front and that everyone who deserves it gets one of the jobs.
It is very hard to have a positive attitude when all around you, you see people on welfare and food stamps get anything they want and you do without because you work. Then you get your hours cut even though you do a good job at what you do so that the person who works with you that receives food stamps gets more hours and does less work. I truly wish everyone a Happy New Year and that everyone who works hard get the things that they deserve. Maybe this year will bring a lot of change in the judical and government system and people who don't care don't get rewarded.
