Canadian check scam

Officials are warning citizens of a Canadian check scam that has been reported in the area. Spalding County Sheriff Dee Stewart warns anyone who receives mail from Canada containing a letter and check from Sun Life Trust or Sun Life Financial Trust that it is part of a scam.

How many times has someone been scammed. Looks to me like you would be more leary of these types of scams and not be the victim. In the terrible economic times that we are in we shouldn't fall for these scams IF IT DON'T FEEL RIGHT DON'T PARTICIPATE!!!

I would like for the scammers to be out all the money they spent to create the false checks and mail them out and for them to get ZERO response to their fake checks, including ZERO phone calls.
That would serve them right, the crooks.
