Coweta County investigators have arrested a man with Barnesville connections with murder in connection with the death of his infant son.

I can't see why so many people wanting to adopt feel that someone that does not belong to them, should belong to them, just because they think they are better for a child. You need to stop waiting to adopt someone else's child, that was PROBABLY ILLEGALLY taken from their parents in the first place, and get on with your life.

The foster care system in this country is nothing but the legalized selling of children, it's not about protecting children at ALL, it's about the money because so many are willing to pay SO MUCH for a child.

Sometimes people cant handle children in the right way. Its not our place to judge him only God the father can! He had twins I mean one child is hard enough to handle just imagine if you had two at one time. I mean im not taking his side but sometimes we do stuff without thinking about it. It states that the person doing the judging should be aware of the fact that they may be judged in the same manner. I AM NOT PLANNING ON SHAKING AN INNOCENT BABY TO DEATH. ARE YOU? Yes we are to obey the laws of our land, if they do not go against Gods law and there are specifics about judging for crimes, in the Bible. But the words "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone" sums up how Jesus feels about judging others.

I have kept tallies all my life to be sure that I complied with the scriptures. As of last week I reached 490 forgivings (70x7). So I can quit forgiving, KILL the Murderer. the momma was at the hospital with the other baby. She didnt want to bring her healthy baby to the hospital around sick people and risk him getting sick as well. She was thinking about the best interest of her child. SHE wasnt the one who said the baby fell off the sofa. SHE said that the BF told her the baby fell off the sofa. You people dont get the FULL EXACT story because the news has made about 40 misprints since the 1st article. and she has NOT been to visit the father in jail AT ALL. She wouldnt even let him touch her when they were in the hospital because of all the evidence leaning on him being the cause of all this. when my granddaughter had her appendix removed at the age of 6, she was left with 2 marks on her backside. I told her Mom to take her to the peds dr. and find out what would leave those marks, that maybe they had layed her on something during the surgery, she informed me that the dr. became very angry at the hospital for letting something like that happen. The next thing we knew DFAC's was all over her and my son. It was horrible. False accusations are very hurtful.

The only "MOST LIKELY" false fact I have heard so far is that an infant fell from a sofa (measure your knee to the floor) and broke bones and suffered internal injuries and death.

I guess it depends on how many times he was slammed to the floor doesn't it? This disgusting jerk. I was asked can he be forgiven. Of course he can, if and only if forgiveness is asked for and repentence takes place. But even then the penalty for the crime is still on his hands and no one else.

I remember when Jessi found out she was pregnant she was so happy, and now her baby boy is dead and her baby girl has been taken away from her. I may be only 16 but i'm not stupid. Twins are mentioned in the printed copy of the Herald Gazette newspaper. You need to purchase the paper to read the entire news story. The twins are a girl and boy named Austin and Abigail. It states the boy suffered broken bones and internal bleeding. It claims Edwards and the mother claimed the child fell off a sofa and later admitted the child was shaken. He died at Egleston Hospital. They were visiting relatives in Barnesville, Friday when the child showed signs of distress. For the rest of the details purchase the paper.

He hates going shopping for anything so i did and do all that and never once did i hesitate to leave my children with their FATHER...... We also worked different shifts and there again he kept the boys we didnt use a babysitter. Why we were their parents... Worked, was a mother, and went to school, but their was always time spent with my boys whether i got sleep or not,it wasnt right for me to delete my mom time with them because i chose to work and go to school, i did that to make sure they had a comfy life. God is busy trying to fix the world. Someone has sucked all the oil out of the Earth, clogged the air with impurities and filled the oceans and atmosphere with debris and plastic (made with a byproduct of oil) BUT he is repairing it. The oil is about gone, the jails are about full, the most blessed country in the world is shot out, without morals and sucked greedily dry "From Sea to Shining Sea." The dictators of the East are trying to hold on long enough to get their gold into the planes and bring it to America along with their illegal family "Because we don't care" anymore about our Law of the Land.

Hello Sheila! I am with you on this one. There is not one excuse for this baby's death. I do not believe for a second that the baby fell from a couch. I truly feel for this man's parents. They just suffered the loss of their daughter and now the death of a grandchild and a son going to prison for murder. I can't imagine what they are going through. As far as this murderer is concerned, I am confident that once he enters the prison system and the inmates find out why he is there....he will get punished regularly. Thanks & I love you. I never critique spelling unless someone insults me. But we know that never happens. (?) I am a terrible speller. My husband is a computer guru. He has mine so that a misspelled word makes a sound like a forklift backing up.

And I hope that if he does get out of jail that you are stupid enough to leave your newborn child alone with him. I feel for his family, I really do. Beacause they have to live with the fact that heir son brutally murdered their 5 week old grandchild. Johnny brought this on himself. Nobody made him do it. Background and everything else shouldnt have anything to do with it. When you have a child, you are supposed to LOVE and PROTECT that child. NOT KILL IT! If you want to stick up for your baby killer friend, that is your choice. But how would you feel if it was YOUR child that he did this to? You are so worried about his family, but you obviously dont care about the mother whose child was murdered. What does that say about YOU? Maybe you are a baby killer yourself. this is a horrible thing that has happened. the man has been arrested for murder. now when are all those other people that commit murder to the unborn going to be made. it seems to me that two standards exist here. no matter how you mix it - murder is murder. i'd bet he has remorse for what has happened but all those others probably just view it as nothing. abortion is murder!

Do all prisoners have a need to create a visitor's list or just those who have been convicted? Is the wife on his list? Has she been to see him? How many times?

If you really want to know I know for a fact that defacs does not do the job. you go to them and tell them about the problem they don't do anything but say we'll look into it then nothing gets done. They want to give benefits to someone who is totally able to work but don't because seh chooses to run the streets and leave the baby with a person who is not able to take care of her.
