Killer Jennifer Clark was found guilty on all counts Friday afternoon: malice murder, two counts felony murder, concealing the death of another, tampering with evidence and two counts first degree cruelty to children.

Judge Tommy Wilson sentenced Clark to life plus 60 years in prison. "I wish I could give you the death penalty," the judge said.

It appears that the jury didn't really have to argue the points presented to them.
A job well done by the jury. Justice has been served, as much as possible when a life has been taken and children have lost the father, a mother has lost her son.
I hope prison and the loss of her children makes life hell for Ms. Clark.

Now skip a year in lamar county jail waiting for transport to prison and instead of giving her a prison cell take her straight to the table and give her a cocktail. Finally the D.A. pulled his head out of his ass and did the county and the victims in this some justice

I applaud you, Judge Tommy Wilson, Richard Milam and the jurors. It is over and in a most refreshing way. Justice prevailed in a case that took less than a week to complete, jury deliberations inclusive.

Judge Tommy Wilson sentenced Clark to life plus 60 years in prison. "I wish I could give you the death penalty," the judge said.

To see ALLEGED removed from her well earned title as murderer is a relief.

My prayer for earthly justice is answered.

I pray that the children can live in a "positive as possible" environment. I hope they can forget this terrible chapter in their lives. May the thought NEVER cross their minds that they in any way contributed to this brutal tragedy.

To Shirley Clark: I cannot imagine how long these years have been to you since your son was taken from you. I have never understood the word closure when losing a loved one. I hope you find a peace in your heart and a rest in your mind that has been impossible until this murderer was brought to justice.

My appreciation to all who worked to close this brutal chapter in Barnesville history.

To Walter and the HG staff, you have completed a wonderful job of coverage.

The famous bird of Jennifer has finally found a nest in which to land.

This is not necessaraly true. Buice got the case near the end of his term, the GBI was wisely called in to assist, and they basically built the case, then Waller took over and with further assistance from the GBI, completed it and turned it over to the DA for prosecution.

Thats the real truth. There is not one hero or specific group of heros in this, it was a joint effort by many involved.

Sheriff Buice and McCreary deserve the credit for solving this case. How many of you would be "professional" enough to be out on a cold rainy Christmas Eve processing a month old crime scene while you knew you had already recieved a termination letter demanding you clean out your desk and vacate your office in 7 days. Buice and team have my respect and gratitude.

I can't say I enjoyed all week as it was hard for our family but today was a relief that was needed. Your judgement was wonderful. Jennifer will reap the benefits she stole from Donald.

Don't forget the GBI, without them, the case surely would have been loosely thrown together like most of the other ones from that timeframe, and possibly resulted in a plea bargain, at risk of having lose it on technicality. Sorry, but it's the truth.

What a great job by the prosecution. It is obvious that hard work pays off. If you do the crime, you should do the time. No tears all week? Are you kidding? What's wrong with her? Never mind. Who cares? D.A. Milam and Cayce Ingalls ROCK! Great job by the jury and Judge Wilson did our community a favor. Life + 60 years! Has a nice ring to it! Hope the healing will come for the Clarks and everyone damaged by this evil.

sister. I just want to thank Richard Milan and his entire
staff. They have kept this family informed every step
of the way. Just for you guys that thought Milan took
the death penalty off the table it was because the family asked
him to we thought that was what was best for the boys.

To all of yall in the Maddox-Clark and Yost families. It was an honor to sit there with you all this week. I am glad this part is over and you can all begin to heal in the best way you can and if there is anything I can do for any of you don't hesitate. I did get to see Michael and he was truly remorseful, humble, and grateful to you all. You have a beautiful family that has grown albeit through tragedy. While I met Donald only briefly I feel safe in saying that he is proud of what everyone has done to see that justice was served and now the rememberance of his life and not his death may begin. For those of you spewing hatred, please stop for the sake of the family, that is what Jennifer did and they all deserve peace and rest and I would never want any of the beautiful children, grandchildren, or others who love Donald to go through one more moment of that. She got the closest thing to earthly justice possible and the Lord will decide the rest as He did here. Sheriff Waller and Company - The county appreciates the superb job of your office by taking over an investigation and finishing the work over a tough election year. Your men showed professionalism by building on this case and bringing the killers to justice. I just thought I should set the record straight this case was solved and over with before sheriff Waller took office. Joe Buice and Rick Mcreary worked through christmas holidays to bring jenni and michael to justice even knowing they would no longer have a job come Jan. they are the ones who kept the family informed and they are the ones who did all the work, by the time Sheriff Waller came to office everything was finished the only thing that needed to be done was prepare for trial and that was D.A Milams job, While my family holds no ill will toward the new administration it needed to be known that Sheriff Waller had nothing to do with solving this case! Thanks Joe Buice for going out of office with a bang!.....for those of you who do not know I am Donalds daughter.

I think this remark was about the stupidest thing I have ever read. Did Jennifer have mercy on Donald. The only thing she had mercy on was herself. I watched her all throughout the trial and she showed no remorse. The only thing she showed was how cruel, cold hearted, and malicous she was besides be nothing but a liar. She is the poorest excuse of a human being I have ever seen. I don't think God will have mercy on a person who shows no remorse and has no heart. SHe didn't even have a heart when it came to the children she bore. I know that God loves her but as far as mercy..that is a joke... Now we know which side of the fence you are on. I have never been a defender of Milam but I give credit when it is deserved. I have had many calls about the trial. Each knows I am not a fan of his...but each and everyone, says bacically that, "he blew this case out of the water."

Thanks amber and your family you all have been very dear to my heart and very patient through this entire journey we have finally ended. reguardless who tries to take credit we all know what we all went through over the past couple of years we know the truth and that's all that really matters. I hope one day you guys get justice for Donna as we did for Donald. I Think that everyone worked together in professionalism and courtesy in my brothers case so we are very pleased with everyone involved. As are family has stated before we now have extended family through dealing with my brothers murder. These people extend from the DA's office down to the 2008 sheriff administration, sheriff Waller has also addressed some concerns we had, However please remember that Helen Ann Morgan is still my cousin and is still missing time to get justice for her. So to those of you who are tired of hearing about Donna get ready to get tired of hearing about another beloved person that has not had their day in court "Helen Ann Morgan"

Hi Brenda,

As I have pointed out in the past, I never met Donna Johnson in my life. I remember the night it happened. It is the saddest day that I can recall. I lived less than five miles from where they found her BRUTALLY BEATEN and MURDERED, YOUNG body. I hope I live long enough to see the "trash" that killed her be rewarded with earthly justice.

You definitely had an advantage in Donald's case that Donna or Helen Ann did not share. YOU had Joe Buice and his team, but with new evidence, a living eye witness that was a partner in the crime and a pissed off DA that was in your corner. I am proud of you, Brenda. I was proud of you the moment you stood up at Donna's vigil and made your speech. It was touching, real and brought tears to my eyes. It was mostly enlightening to me because I had never heard of the facts of the case.

I hope I am judging wrong here...but your comments back to me have always had an air of "ticked off" when directed to my blogs.

I actually have had two people who discussed Helen Ann's murder after your speech with me. You obtain my email address from Walter at the paper office. You email me and we will set up a meeting, if these two are willing to show, you take the facts and do as you please with them. If the two are not willing to show, I will tell you they are not, but I will never tell you their names because I am a person of my word. As you appear to be at the moment.

I wish you all the luck in the world. I am not so sure that if you find the murderer of Helen Ann that you will not have another person who will "spill their guts" like Jennifer's associate did in order to save themselves from the death penalty.

Don't hold hard feelings toward me because I want Donna's murder solved. You have been honest on these blogs from my knowledge and I hope you continue to be that way.

What is your first step? I am not being a smart ass, I am really curious.

You have another edge. You will be dealing with the missing person's division of the GBI.

Don't disappoint me now Brenda. I truly believe a young person such as yourself has enough "fire" in them to stir old elected people up. This will be even easier as election nears.

BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER, Joe Buice and his team were there for you even as he was leaving office.....not because he wanted to be re-elected.

I am about to get all kinds of hate blogs because I hope Donna's murderer will serve earthly justice before they get to Hell.
