shiela tolley is nobody with a loud mouth who uses the internet to shoot her mouth off...why cant she be a real adult and confront these people personally...she is a class a coward
You can be my Bashful Baby and I will be your Class A Coward, we can go and Huddle at the Huddle House. Waffle at the Waffle House. BUT I draw the line at Fuddruckers!
EltonJohn and Rod Stewart eh? Both are bloody awful! Elton John capitalizes on the fact that he studied at the Royal Acadamy of Music - he was a junior actually, never took an aundergraduate course, never graduated. Rod Stewart's Great American Songbook recordings are fine, very good actually but his earlier recordings are just dreadful! I heard him perform at an AARP Conference. The audience wasn't too receptive to his earlier numbers and he yelled - "Wot's the matter wiv you lot!"
Charming - I don't think.
Sinatra Jr. is a musician's musician, a perfectionist - his show is super, in the same class as Tony Bennet. He is talented, modest, hard-working and shares the credit with his musical director and band - a real pleasure to see. I hope to be able to see him many more times.
My thoughts exactly. I guess us Tax payers will have to pay once again. Truby is a good man and all and much better than the previous SUPER. But, he needs to put on brakes. After his two years are up he will be gone and our money will be gone with him. I call for Truby to step down.
hmmm...so the tickets range from 39 to 100 So the cost of the concert is 36 grand or somewhere there abouts??
Is that real or are you just throwing those numbers out there? How could a little town like ours be expected to MAKE money on that?
They might have done better to try to get Justin Beiber (Bieber, whichever)!
So when are they going to post the numbers on this event? Was it actually a fundraiser or did we go in the hole? If in the hole by how much AND who is going to pay for that?
Trust me I get all the bringing of nice things to help the city, blah, blah, blah, but this county is in trouble and needs to be tightening our belts.. not throwing money at "luxuries".
It's time fore Truby to go. They are paying Sinatra 51,000.00 to come here and they only sold 298 tickets. WOW!!!! Walter, can you investigate and see how much in all they spent to bring this man here. And where does the money come from?
I asked your boys if they resented you calling them "kids" because "kids" are young goats.
Both fat boys cocked their heads and looked up with wide eyes and bleated: naaaah---naaah!
Case closed...move on... nothing else here to see.

If it comes up short, who will have to pay the shortage and the actual cost of using this venue for this event?
Was any type of market research done on this to be sure this venue could produce the revenue needed for this event?
