The event calendar and entertainment lineup for the 7th annual BBQ & Blues Festival have been finalized. This year’s event is set for April 21-23.

The festivities begin with the kickoff party/after hours Thursday, April 21 from 5-7 p.m. at United Bank.

The cook teams will roll in that night.

Thats the truth. Its the only reason they have it. Does Barnesville make any money off of it at all....cant be much!

You don't have to come. You can stay at home with mommy and watch old reruns of the Lawrence Welch show, like you do every other Saturday night. I for one will be parting with all the fun people in this town. Can't wait!

I enjoy this festival, and I appreciate the hard work that goes into it. I bring my kids and let them enjoy the fun too. Its a great place to get out and meet some of your neighbors! Quit griping and get out and enjoy your community! Sounds like some of you could use some sunshine in your lives! See you there!

People are always complaining that there is nothing to do in Barnesville except Buggy Days, well, this is another chance to get out and enjoy yourself. There is music, food, a car show and games for kids. I am looking forward to it!

i am new to barnesville and find that this is a great way to meet people and see everyone come together and have some fun. i walked friday night out and about and saw people young and old having a great time and no alcohol was around. they were talking, eating, dancing, and enjoying the beautiful weather. i am proud to now say that barnesville is my home and thank the chamber for doing a great job

I have been here in Barnesville for almost 13 years and have never been to this event. My children and some other family members have and they seemed to enjoy it. I usually have to work or have other plans when it happens. I personally think that anything entertaining and kid friendly should be allowed to happen. What is everyone complaining about?

What ever happened to the Dude who was called House Rocker?
I just liked the name, fits the festival.
