High praise is in order to him and others for their master plan to bail out Barnesville after Carters walked on their operations, leaving the massive water expansion done for them unpaid. No one voted on county water, it just appeared by magic. Same thing with the money pit Fire Department. Who voted to combine the city and county fire?
We are indeed fortunate to have such superb people in positions of responsibility.
How much more are people in this area going to take before something is done to address out of control government?
Has it saved money?
How many fire trucks does the combined department have now? How many stations?
Now, how many fires have we had? Wasn't the county chief quoted as saying he wouldn't put out brush fires since that was the job of the Forestry Service?
Who voted to combine these departments? Anyone else remember "Insane" Devane and Roberts and the fire truck incident?
But stay on topic here. The water department was unwanted by county citizens and unneeded. That is shown by the lack of folks signing up for the service.
Who voted for the project? Now we have the county drug down by the collection of Barnesville idiots that painted themselves into a corner with the Carters water expansion.
Who voted for this and why is an unelected city manager making decisions for the county?
Sounds to me like someone needs to be put into their place or shown the door.
