Teen drowns at Lake Juliette
A 16-year-old boy drowned Sunday at Lake Juliette in Monroe County.

This is very sad and tragic. I went to that lake twice and it was so full of vegitation it makes no sense to me that anyone would actually try to swim in it.

It is a great swimming lake, or it was, until they closed the beaches in the camping area for a variety of reasons. Very clear, deep water. The vegetation is only along banks in 6ft of less water.

does anyone know the boating limits of lake julitte? can you night fish on the lake?
