Lamar schools are closed Monday; weather update
Public schools in Lamar County are closed Monday due to inclement weather. Update: Classes at St. George's Episcopal School in Milner have also been cancelled. Update II: Classes at Gordon College are cancelled until noon. GC staff should report at 10 a.m. if travel permits.

We just got word that Gordon has cancelled all classes before noon on Monday. Classes from noon onward will meet as usual. Staff are to report at 10:00 am as travel allows.

That stinks. I think if half of the classes are cancelled then all of them should be!!!!!!!!!!

FYI - the weather channel is now scrolling closing and delays on the bottom of the channel.
