Two of the five would-be rappers charged with terroristic threats and unlawful acts for filming a threatening rap video in the front yard of Barnesville police investigator Al Moltrum were denied bond.

Throw these so called wanna-be rappers into a prison and let them rot.

The Bond hearing was not denied because Attorney Brinson was late. Attorney Brinson had a legal conflict in another Court, and Judge Fears allowed her to come in later. Attorney Brinson requested the hearing to be continued. The writer in this article obviously has his facts wrong and has purposely attempted to write incorrect facts on Attorney Brinson in an attempt to keep the good ole boys grip in that circuit on lock down. The writer ought to be ashame of himself for lying.

Yeah there bond was denied, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with that fictitious video that was put together and put out, BPD has the origional version of the tape that was not altered, WHY dont they release that version?BPD knows the truth about this whole situation and refuses to vindicate the one's that are innocent. BPD is being vindictive! And just for the record the so called "video" in question was NOT filmed in Moltrum's yard, BPD knows that as well, but nobody knows how 2 of these young men were beat up and called ni**ers over and over again by BPD police officers who are here to protect and serve everybody in the community. Clearly someone or some people that works for the BPD has a personal vendetta against the young men who they know are innocent in this case. It is not about this fake video, because the video in question was made and altered and BPD has both videos and written statements about everything that took place and they know the truth and refuse to act on the truth.This is about money they want all of these boys to get a lawyer and spend money that they clearly dont have, The ones that could afford a lawyer are out and have been vindicated. This is one of the reasons why nobody respects police officers because you cant trust them. And for the ones that are ridiculing these young men, please trust and believe that if the BPD did this to them and KNOW the TRUTH about what happend and are still holding them, they will do the same to you also!!

OMG, give it a rest. NONE of these thugs are innocent. While they may be found not guilty of this crime when it goes to trial, they certainly are not innocent. They are street thugs that were raised to be street thugs. And as far as them not having money to hire an attorney, this is complete BS. EVERYBODY knows the Government will provide an attorney to them FREE OF CHARGE, compliments of the working taxpayers, of which probably none of them have ever been a part.

I don't know what happened here, but I think Al Moltrum is a great guy. However, I am a law student and I can tell you from education that public defenders do not handle cases the way they ethically should. One reason I am going into law. Everybody deserves their day in court and their const. rights deserve to be upheld. Just because u are provided an attorney doesn't mean u are going to represented properly. People should stop judging others by stereotypes and what they read in the media.

If these young men can't afford lawyers, they will, by law, be appointed one by the courts. Their public defender won't cost them a dime. Their defense will be paid for by us, the taxpayers. You may or may not be right about two videos. That I don't know. But don't say it's about lawyers making money off those boys because, again, it's not going to cost them a dime.

You really think that there is a vendetta? Maybe the boys should have thought about what they were doing before they did it. Just how did these punks respect Al Moltrum or anyone at the PD? They didnt. They have no respect, so they shouldnt expect any in return. Just think, if they hadnt called attention to themselves by threatening to shoot a cop, then they wouldnt be in jail. Whos fault is that? Whos fault is it that they have to hire a lawyer? Thats right....it it always someones elses fault. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that the judge has probably seen the videos....maybe thats why they are still in jail? The judge decides that right?? Or is it the BDP? One last thing, do you think that officers are not part of the community? Shouldnt they be protected as well?
I am sure it will all come out in court. If they are innocent, then let them prove it. If they are not, then the police were justified in arresting them. I makes me sick when people are always trying to place the blame on others. Parents should put more time and effort into raising their children and teaching them right from wrong.

Anyone who knows these young punk thugs knows they have never contributed to society, they're all nothing but a waste of oxygen. I know everyone of them far too well, and I know for a fact they sell dope and steal. I'd be willing to bet not a single one of them has ever made a honest dollar. I hope they get the maximum penalty for these charges! That's 5 less thugs of barnesville on the streets, still got a lot more to go! Drop the hammer your honor!

I do not agree with what they did. It was beyond stupid, but I can't stand the cop they threatened. He has no morals and often harass young black males for fun. The question is who is ever going to lock him up? He has done quite a few illegal things.

Thats BS. You obviously do not know him. If you think he has done anything illegal, then spill the beans. Dont just get on here and make up crap. I suppose you dont think he should do his job? I am sure some of the people you are referring to are angels...If Moltrum "harassed" anyone, I am sure they deserved it, white or black. Take you complaint to the chief of police, or even the GBI. Im sure they will be unfounded. Are you a soldier...doubtful. Moltrum was. He has served his country and this city and has done a great job. Dont hate on people who want to clean up all of the BS in this town. Go on back to selling your dope or smoking it.

My guess is that he really wouldnt care what you think....lol! cops are loved when they help you and hated when they arrest you, like they made you do a crime. They cant win. I do know you are wrong about Mr. Moltrum, he is straight up with everyone. You must be a soldier for the NAACP. People are quick to scream harassment.

These boys were just plain stupid.
