First Baptist Church of Barnesville is sponsoring a prayer walk around Lamar County public schools the day before school begins, Sunday, Aug. 7, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Prayer walking is simply praying as one walks. The community is invited.
Nobody used the fine arts center, it was in the parking lot. Interesting how people take something positive and twist it. To answer your question in another way, "Would any Muselims be willing to pray for the school?" I do not see any Muselims in this country standing for anything, especially community unity.
What does the tea party have to do with anything? If we all did a whole lot more praying instead of finding fault we would be better off as a community. That includes me and probaly need to do more than anybody.
I think your right, but I also think that people have to be fully living/applying the will of God in their life to make a difference. I see so many people show up for church just to be seen, but are not applying what they heard. They act like they are high and mighty just for going to church but have no real relationship with God. We have to reflect and be cautious to acknowledge what the real goal in life truly is.
I could not be there, but I pray that all the schools have a great year. I pray that:
*students reach their maximum capacity for learning
*the teachers and administration have the words of encouragement and wisdom
*parents find the strenth to help students succeed with homework/studies after a hard days work
