Scott Votaw, director of the schools Fine Arts Center, has tendered his resignation as of Aug. 29. Plans are to operate the theater without a director. He applied for a teaching job here, did not get it and is now working as a film and video production teacher at Griffin High School.

Normally I am for smaller government...but if this man can teach AND manage the fine arts facility...Why not keep him?

Get a grip people! There are more skilled A/V techs out there. The place never needed a director for what little use it gets.
