anyone arrested?
Nisha, while you are taking the time to shame yourself as a "woman" and your family, why not take the time to sit back and think of the emptiness you would be feeling right now had somebody died on Saturday. Supposed this "Rod" fellow had successfully lodged a bullet in the body of the gentleman; Rod would be locked up in jail for a great deal of time, beginning from the time he was released from the hospital. The other guy would be dead, and you...... well you WHAT????? Or instead of acting like less of a woman in you drama on this log...... what if that had been you pinned head first under that car on Saturday. Has your mother or grandparents or godparents, or any of your friends posed that question to you? Have you posed it to yourself??? Young Lady, what is it really are you trying to gain here????
Nisha, you need to get your life in order. If your life is too much for you to handle right now, it may be just the time to seek God. So instead of trying to punish a Good Man for trying to help raise you into a stable woman, you should ask your stepfather to help you find a way God. Instead of jumping in and out of relationships with different people; instead of finding the next person on this blog for you to level a cursing fit on; instead of treating your parents like dirt; instead of entertaining the life of a thug-- turn your life around, Sweety, be a respectable woman, buy a bible and read it for understanding. And you can tell Mr. Rod that he needs to grow up too. He was willing to take a man's life all in the name of ?????? what? So, he was going to kill this other gentleman, go to jail, and then you'd be left here to continue living and doing what you want with whom you wanted----while he'd be in some prison saying.... "i luv da gul." People, wake up!!! A lots of young lives having connections to Barnesville-Lamar County have been ended; abruptly and young!!!
Nisha, your mind and body should be a temple that you cherish first and foremost. Use them wisely!!! If you have enough energy and wherewithall to get on this blog and fuss, take that same desire and go enroll in a college or technical school; Get God, Get an education, Get your life together, Stop Disrespecting your Elders, and most of all Stop amusing everyone on this blog with drama a mess. The only person who can make a difference in your life is you??? When do you start????
Luv ya,
Chelsea

STUPID!!!!!
I believe you could be something truly great, if you strive towards it. Be a mother that child can be proud of; I know you have it in you. I believe in you, I may not like your actions, but you are one very smart lady. Show everyone just how smart you are, and instead of calling them names, work towards it so you can REALLY ride around town in flashy cars that YOU own. Prove them all wrong girl; thumb your nose at them. I did and guess what; life is finally wonderful because I know who is the better person, and it’s not those vicious people in Barnesville. Not to mention, when you better yourself you also get better men who truly cherish you AND your child. Not many men in Barnesville are worthy of you girl go for BETTER! If you care, listen to me please, I am a welfare child from a single parent home who dropped out of high school. I changed, I worked hard to improve my education, I can now say I’m the rich one because not only do I own my own business but also because I was able to marry a wealthy man that loves and cares for me and my child that is not his.
I am blessed, and I will say that God is the one that provided those blessings, but God can’t do that if we continue being “tough”. You can be tough girl, without sinking to the level of the lowlifes. It’s a wonderful feeling being able to drive around town, and have the respect of those who used to slander you. It gives one great joy when those who once called you a “ho” now try to be your friends. It’s nice to be able to turn around in the line at stores when someone says “Hey”, to see one of the scum that has hurt you with words, and to just turn back around and ignore them.
That’s better than calling one a name any day. It’s the greatest revenge, and it is completely within Gods will. It’s living well, while leaving the rest behind.
And you won’t have to worry about anyone shooting at you, because it’s also 100% legal. And that’s when these people will want to be your friend, they want a taste of the good life (legally), but many are just too sorry to earn it. You can start at the local library if you think school is not an option for you right now. The librarians are GREAT and all you have to do is devour as much knowledge as you can. The library is the best place to begin, it’s within walking distance of town, it’s free; and reading enriches the mind in ways you could not possibly understand because of your youth. It doesn’t matter WHAT you read, just read.
See, it’s just another form of slavery; white skin or black skin it doesn’t matter. The ignorant will always be controlled by those more educated because they are too stupid to do anything more than barely above minimum wage. The dishonest ignorant may have fancy cars for a time, but there is always a day of reckoning when their cars are traded for bars. Either way, you lose….or you better yourself so that you’re not a dumb ass.
You provide me much laughter and joy. You really do. I laugh at your type every day, you’re so clueless that it’s absolutely hilarious.
This person was trying to kill the vehicle operator that was following him. PERIOD. Unless a gun was brandished or some sort of scenario of his life being in immediate danger by means of Ability, opportunity and jeopardy then he should not have been shooting. This is just another idiot off the streets for now. Sure we can pray that peace will be with his family but this idiot is a menace to society.
Read it, weep and keep on watching BET.
And for all of those who only know God when trouble hits, let me tell you that God frowns on drug dealers, murderers, premarital sex etc. and if you want God on your side, then you have to walk the walk everyday, not just while you are walking into the courtroom. You don't fool God.
One should be careful how one uses the Bible as well, because a lot of harm is done in the name of God that I do not think God appreciates or likes. He does frown on the things you have stated, but he ALSO frowns on His servants judging others as harshly as they do in Barnesville. Our job is to love and nothing more. It’s also YOUR job to reach out to others, and it’s not by doing charity works within your Church, it’s by getting on the streets and reaching those who need to know about Gods love most. Those that need to see this love are not in the Churches. That’s where the Christian community falls short, and we are the ones that WILL be held most accountable. We know our job, to reach those who need to see love not conviction. But there’s not many of us out here in the streets mingling with those types.
Many Christians in the area go to Church and feel they are so righteous, yet they will not go to the streets as Jesus did. They forget, Jesus TORE up the Church, and He preached in the streets. But if one tries to tell a pastor or congregation this, the person is labeled a troublemaker and a sinner. Some Christians think they are so worthy, yet they are the ones who are In a way damning themselves with their judgmental attitudes. People need to stop judging others, Christians need to show more love, we all need to let the officers handle the arrests and let the Jury members and Judges do the prosecuting, and let God deal with the hearts and moral convictions. We’re not God, we’re His children and we have no right trying to play God. Not saying that you are trying to do that, but you’re post doesn’t show much love and compassion.
God does frown on drug dealers, murders, adulterers but He still loves those types just as much as He loves you, me or any other Christian. He also frowns on Christians not telling others the simple little words that God does love and care for them. He’s not just up in the sky frowning down on people; He’s loving them and crying because they won’t reach out to Him. I grew up in your type of Church, and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized that not only does Jesus love me, but so does God. And yes, I have attended just about every Church in the area, and sadly, the people attending and many of the Pastors were too busy judging me instead of trying to reach me.
I went to the Churches many times for help when I just needed someone to talk to, and I found not a SINGLE person who would take time to talk to me. I went to the streets and I found LOVE, yes it may have been with sinners, but they accepted me as I was and did not care about my faults. It was the very drug dealing, murdering, thieving, lying people that so many judge that loved me when I needed someone to care. It was a deputy Sheriff who vouched for me when I was on probation, not to keep me out of jail for a crime I WAS guilty of committing, but because he saw something in me that I didn’t even see myself. He believed in me.
The librarians throughout the years that did not mind me coming there for days and days and days because I desired to further my knowledge and could not afford a book. And one teacher who did not send me to detention when I was fighting in school, but who instead reached out with love and punished me with Shakespeare to introduce me to the wonderful joys of reading.
Once I read the Bible for myself, I realized that I was taught wrong. God is a wonderful being, and once I realized how wonderful He truly is my natural desire was to love Him back. All my life I needed love, and when I finally discovered it in God, I grabbed onto God and I have not let go despite the fact that many Christians in the area still call me a sinner because of things I did 5 to 20 years ago. They tore my family apart in the name of God, it’s hard not to hate them sometimes. But I do not hate them, I have not gotten to the point where I can pray for many Christians so I just ignore them. I sure will get on my knees for my sinner friends though.
It’s not just the parents because I have one of the greatest mothers in town. It wasn’t her raising me badly that caused me to do the many wrongs that I did. It was the community, and a large part of that community was “Christian”. The teacher is Christian, the librarians, some of them are Christians (I am referring to librarians from the past 40 years here) and the deputy was a Christian. Yes I will admit that, but why should they be the ones to do the Pastors jobs? They already have hard enough jobs as it is, why should they have to be the ones to reach out to someone as HORRIBLE as I used to be, without pay, just because they cared? Especially when I went to the Churches for help and was turned away so many, many times. And the funny thing is, the librarians, the teacher, the deputy never once preached to me or even mentioned God because at this time I had a lot of anger towards God. They just let their light shine, and that light did finally shine through.
Sorry for the long post, but people should not blame the parents, they should maybe start blaming themselves also. How many people have you cut down with your words? As I said, you are for the most part correct, but Christians should not be so cutting. And this isn’t me judging you by any means, I have no right to, it’s called wisdom. Something a lot of sinners have, so maybe a lot of Christians could take some lessons from the sinners so we can all just help and love one another. And also, a drug dealer may be breaking the law and yes this is wrong. But I know MANY criminals and sinners who are kinder and more loving than even many of my own family members. If they break the law I will be the first to say they should pay for their crimes, but it’s nice to know that if I ever need them, they are always there for me. Never do they say “I don’t have time”.
If you knew me, and could see my arms, the scars did not come from anything a drug dealer ever did to harm me. They came from me loosing faith in God because some of his people are hateful people who care nothing for other people. I did not let go of God, I thought that God had let go of me and I was wrong for that. Because I let the hate of a few Christians blind me for a short time. And it wasn’t a Christian that saved me either when I had slashed my arms to shreds while combining alcohol and many bottles of pills, when I then went to lay down in a full tub knowing that I would soon pass out and would either bleed to death, die of overdose or drown when I did pass out. Some Christians drove me to this, and it’s only a pure out miracle that I am still alive today. By all accounts I should be dead, that is when I realized that God never let go of me. But I sure lost faith in many of His people, because a lot of the Christians in the area really suck at being “good and righteous”.
I’m sorry, have been reading the posts the past few weeks about the drugs and murders, and seeing the same judgmental attitude in the comments, well it’s just hard not to reply in a short way that explains what I try to say to peoples faces. No one wants to hear it, at least now, maybe if nothing more my post will cause some of the Christians in the area to rethink they way they use Gods words. One should never misspeak the Bible for their own advantage, one should never get preachy if they have not studied the actual scripture that states what they are preaching themselves, and one should NEVER say God is frowning down without adding “because he loves you and is saddened by your actions, He is there for you when it seems that no one else is”.
Meanwhile, the drug emporium at the corner of Railroad and Mill continues unabated. But Brought Back and the State Attorney General sure had a nice presentation about...
...drugs.
Justice is just too easy on people committing crimes these days. Liberals think anyone can be reformed and therefore want light punishment. Give them a chance because of the hard blows life has dealt them.
Life hasn't dealt hard blows. Life just followed lazy. Everyone has the same chance at an education. At least up through high school and, college too if they work hard. So many people think that life owes them a free ride. But, that's not their fault either. Liberals continue to teach it to them every day. Currently our government is leading the pack of teaching people not to worry if they can't achieve. Government will reward those who won't work for advancement by taking from those who will.
How many complaints I get from this will demonstrate just how many liberals with their hands out are reading all this. The current democratic leadership is well on its way to our destruction. And the majority of government owes me a living people are going to just let it happen while they look the other way with out stretched arms.
Real leadership is not going to be popular but it’s going to require real get tuff leadership to take us through everything going on now. However, people don’t need to worry. Politicians are going to continue to tell you what you want to hear while they take what they need to survive and pass out anything that will keep them in office.
Thank you God for our brought back sheriff -- we sure needed him. #31 Right on!
Now which one of you rich people gone step up and pay for it?
Don't take my word for it; do YOU feel that you're worth more? If so, cut out the crappy spelling and go back to school, geesh.
I’m not a shrink, I’m a business owner who teaches others how to achieve a better life for themselves in more ways than just monetary gains. Some call me a motivational speaker, but I don’t like that title. I just strive to provide uplifting words to the ones that society leaves out, the homeless, the drop-outs, the women with husbands who belittle them.
I call a lot of people ignorant, but I will freely admit that I am also ignorant in MANY areas myself. But since I want to be taken seriously, the first lesson I know to follow is use proper grammar and English. That is something I strive for on a daily basis, because it’s an area that can always be improved no matter how smart one is. There are always thousands of new words to learn. And those like you who think that spelling isn’t important, let’s just say you should know why people do not take you seriously. Because you’re ignorant, why listen to you? Why do I respond to you? It’s habit; many here (including myself) have errors in their comments. YOU are the one that seems to be proud of it. It’s certainly not anything you should be proud of; it makes you look so foolish.
But again, thanks for the prayers! WOOT one can never have enough of that no matter who is doing the prayer!

Let God judge ppl for their wrong. Ok stupid, lets just sit back at an idle and wait around on the rapture to take place and not do anything about these idiots that roam the streets in the mean time.
I dont know if it makes me mad or gets me tickled at the words and spelling that have been used in the previous posts. I can go through all the posts and tell you who is black and who is white and be withing a 90% of being right. Does anyone else find this amazing. I mean im used to hearing it out in public at gas stations and grocery stores etc but i cant grasp the fact that the majority of "them" type how they talk. That is AMAZING
Im sure neither one of them had insurance so anyone want to take a guess how much it cost the tax payers for the flight for both of them. Im gonna guess 12-16k each. Dont worry though. Obama is gonna make everything alright for all of us. Im sure these 2 are apart of the wealth distribution that Obama has in mind. Way to go Obama
