Anyone who receives electric service from Southern Rivers Energy is invited to the 74th annual Members Meeting this Saturday.

Maybe they could just concentrate on keeping the electricity on?

EVERY time there is a the slightest storm here, the lights flicker or go out completely. 2-4 hours to get service restored.

You folks with Georgia Power service just don't know lucky you are.

Those of us with a roof over our heads and enough food every day are lucky.
It's all a matter of perspective, I guess.

Maybe you should upgrade your own house. Could be faulty work by your contractor. Seems to me, SRE is pretty quick when the storms come thru. If you are way out in the boonies, remember that their focus is to get as many people back up as quickly as possible. Therefore a line connecting service to 10 homes will be fixed prior to a line that goes to 1 or 2 houses.

I'm SURE that EVERY time there is the slightest storm that your power goes out. How dramatic!

I agree with UH, SRE has made great improvements since I became a customer 39 years ago.

I just want the same benefits as the do nothing board, family covered insurance, free family vacations, paid nod your head meetings. what a waste of my $$$$. this my friends is the good ole boy system at its best.

Actually my power went last night for two hours. No storm or even a cloud in the sky. No A/C, no sleep. Thanks again Southern Rivers, Not!

This makes 5 times this year thus far.

These people have a LONG way to go to equal Georgia Power's excellent service.
