The deadline to file for phase two rebuilding for organizational, family and individual tornado relief from the Barnesville-Lamar Community Foundation is Thursday, Sept. 1.

Yeah right. They want all manner of personal information about income, SS number...etc.

I tossed the paperwork in the trash.

If they want to help, then provide the help without all the life history needed.

Thank you GA DOT, Lamar County and various Christian ministries. Your helping hand was greatly appreciated in our time of great need.

All the rest such as worthless FEMA? Get lost.

And those who filled out all of the required paperwork for the original request as well as the so called long term request have yet to hear back if they will actually receive any help. Do the people who donated to this fund realize this by any chance? Has anyone actually gotten any assistance? It's sad and disgusting at the same time. I will seriously never donate to another fund. I would feel better served by asking someone what they need and buying it for them if I can. I'm disgusted.
