The Lamar County grand jury will convene on September 12 with over 140 cases on its docket.
Not among them is the murder case against Frenchie Fambro whose murder charges were dismissed and walked free last week.
Barnesville's collection of alleged threat rappers will go before the grand jury charged with terroristic threats.

There are a number of reasons why cases don't go before the next grand jury that convenes after a person is arrested. Sometimes lawyers have conflicting cases in other courts that prohibit them from being in two places at once. Sometimes, the calendar is already full and, quite simply, every pending case can't be heard.
Murderers and child molesters are not "let off" due to untimely trials. I know that it sometimes happens if unscrupulous defense attorneys bombard the courts with boat loads of petitions for speedy trials, but this is in cases such as DUI's and drug charges. NOT murder and child molestation. I don't think I've ever heard of one murderer or child molester getting off due to lack of speedy trial.
