The murder trial of Teresa Burousas was completed Tuesday in Pike superior court with Judge Quillian Baldwin on the bench. He found her guilty of voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in commission of a crime. Burousas was sentenced to 20 years with 10 years to serve in prison and 10 years on probation with credit for the two years she has already served.

I thought it had been adjudicated. It certainly took a long time. I felt the Sentence was Light, based on the narrative of the events that took place. I guess Lawyers and Judges have a different concept of Justice, compared to what I feel about this case.
He had it coming... I hoped she would walk.
Will there be further charges for the forged check? Did she get the insurance money from the house? What are the conditions of the probation once she's released. Don't murder anyone else. How very sad for the family of Buzz.
She ditched a harsher sentence and will be out in 8, I guess.
We will never know the truth of their marriage, and it's not our place to guess.

I'm sure you wouldn't want your deceased family member called such names. We will all have to answer someday, some just earlier than others.
