The Lamar County Trojans torched the Crawford County Eagles at homecoming Friday night at Trojan Field.

10:56 1st: Lamar 7-0. Lance Austin 47-yd TD run. Tyler Scandrett PAT.

5:28 1st: Lamar 13-0. Maurice Bloodser 4-yd TD run. PAT fail.

2:18 1st: Lamar 20-0. Quay Searcy 55-yd TD run. Scandrett PAT.

1:03 1st: Lamar 26-0. Bloodser 17-yd TD pass to Jarvis Merritt. PAT fail.

11:03 2nd: Lamar 33-0. Bloodser 47-yd TD pass to Lawrence Austin. Scandrett PAT.

5:24 2nd: Lamar 40-0. Tevin Childs 2-yd. TD run. Scandrett PAT.

:51 2nd: Lamar 47-0. Antwan Wallace 5-yd. TD run. Scandrett PAT.

And best of all, area residents up to a mile away can hear the announcer clearly!

It is absolutely ridiculous that the sound carries as far as it does.

This is ridiculous. 51-0, in the first half. Please put the JV in... We don't need to embarrass these guys by running up the score.

I was amazed at the size of the crowd, I know it was homecoming, however, it was a quit crowd. What is it going to take to make this town a roudy, noisey, football crowd? Seems like people were not watching the game, but more interested in something else.

I believe most were quiet because they already knew what kind of game it would be. It was not the type of game to be rowdy for. It had a scrimmage feel to it. The locals will get fired up for a playoff game, or any other time it's needed.

Fox 5 will never come to Lamar County. To many Hillbilly's for their TV station. Lamar folks will have to get more people with teeth in their heads.
