This following account was written by Larry Stanford of The Thomaston Times. Local law enforcement has not yet commented on local arrests.
Two Barnesville residents, Michael Holloway and Cherrie A. Crummie, 30, were arrested as part of a massive methamphetamine sweep originating in Upson County
I bet all of these people looked 60 years old or more.
Great job.
Congrats on a job well done, especially to Brian Hammock, who was my neighbor, childhood friend, and is now a good man.
God bless the innocent victims in this, the family and the kids.
These people have no idea what that stuff does to their brain cells.
Yeah, that won't stick in court.
They better have a damn good attorney or be willing to plead to a lesser charge.
Kudos to the Feds and local authorities for getting some of that crap off the streets.
OCGA § 16-13-33 mandates, “Any person who attempts or conspires to commit any offense defined in this article shall be, upon conviction thereof, punished by imprisonment not exceeding the maximum punishment prescribed for the offense, the commission of which was the object of the attempt or conspiracy.”
Your assumptions about the charge are completely inaccurate. It's a prosecutable criminal charge that will stick. Conspiracy and Intent laws with regards to controlled substances do not always require the drug to be in your physical possession. Anyone who believes otherwise better have their attorney on speed-dial.
Why shouldn't that be conspiracy? What are these people if not conspirators......Chatty Cathy dolls?
I wish they could all serve time for every family they have ever hurt!
"and no one was found to have annything at all period so how does all this take place someone snitching and giving false information to authoraties no one had anything they"
take a breath dude. Clear your mind............never mind, just take another hit of whatever you are hitting. Those lights you see are just Blue Light Specials from K-Mart. Just pull slowly over and show your ID to the nice gentleman in the uniform. Now get into the backseat of the other car. He is going to take you back to K-Mart to finish shopping.
