Deputies, task force targeting alleged dealers
According to Maj. Brad White of the Lamar County sheriff's office, deputies and agents of the Narcotics Task Force are currently targeting alleged drug dealers and the effort has paid off with one arrest with more expected soon.
I was confused. Let's review, less than half ounce of pot and a few pills he probably takes for his back problem. Aren't these charges about one step up from jay walking? I know how bad my back feels hauling around my 250 pounds. I can only imagine the back pain ol' Dan must have toting around 350 pounds on his big carcass. No,no, I don't use anything stronger than Tylenol and I keep those in their original container just in case one of my ex-girfriends or a dissatisfied business associate wants to drop a dime on me. I don't want Maj. Brad White to show up at my house. Especially after reading, “We initiated this raid after multiple reports that Krost was allegedly selling drugs. We expect more arrests to follow,” Major Brad White of the sheriff’s department said. Imagine that! A raid after "multiple reports". Probably from the same female. Guess we will find out after his attorney subpoenas all the records in discovery and the actors in the play are identified.
Arent you smart enough to read between the lines? Do you honestly think they just went and raided someones home, just because someone said the were making meth? If that were the case, half of the town would be locked up on false accusations. We all know what happens when you dont get a warrant.
I heard a few rumors that some LCSO deputies carry around a pocketful of "pre-signed" warrants that can be used as needed when the date, suspect's name and address are scribbled onto the fill-in-the-blank spaces. Since we are discussing Lamar County popo, most anything is possible. I can visualize one of the "multiple reports" being made to the LCSO in the form of a pitifully whining midnight phone call being made to turn in Big Dan:
"Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?... This is Sweet SiouxSee and I am calling to report Big Dan for slinging dope down on Greenwood St. OK, right on, maam, we'll git rat on it." ... Crash...bam! Ok Big Dan, don't try to flush that roach down the terlet!...go set down in the back of my car cuz you be goin' ta jail."...somebody call Walter...we need publicity for this big time pusher....
6 months later....Judge sez: "case dismissed, Big Dan. You stay outta trouble. You heah?"...Yes Suh!, replies BD.
It's called CAPITALISM when you can keep a place rented "by over charging rent prices" and the "college kids" are eager to pay it. It seems you are a "gimme" person who would demonstrate downtown while displaying your "Occupying Barnesville" signs reading "DOWN WITH DAN".

We all know that the PAST administration didnt understand the law or the process of the law. Simple little details, such as obtaining a warrant, make a hugh difference.
You will have to buy a newspaper to read about it. OK with that? Huh? Huh?

I advise Big Dan to accept a Milam plea if it's offered for "taking up too much space" or "not shaving" or maybe "disturbing somebody's piece"...pun intended. Good luck BD, you are a huge and strong lad with a menacing look. The cons won't push you around in the joint if you lose in court. Size does matter, Sheila!
