Barnesville assigned AA-municipal bond credit rating
Standard & Poor’s Corporation, the pre-eminent global provider of independent investment, valuation and analysis data, has assigned a “high investment grade” credit rating of AA to Barnesville.

That is really good news since it will qualify the county for low interest rates, helping to keep taxes down.
