A Barnesville man is celebrating a multi-million dollar Georgia Lottery win. Bobby Caldwell, 64, won $4 million playing Super Millions.

Lottery winner information is public record. And when you hold up that big ole check and grin you have signed away your privacy. Why don't you people educate yourselves before commenting in this forum (yes I said forum its not a blog) and showing your ignorance.

Look at the picture. He took the photo in front of the gas station not a lottery headquarters. If does have to take the picture at the lottery headquarters but not in his hometown then to have it run in his hometown newspaper. If he would have kept quiet no one in town would have ever known.

Have a sense of humor, already. Do you really think the people posting here are serious? This is just joking around. Yes, there are people that insinuate themselves into the lives of people that hit it big, but I don't think they are the same ones posting here and if they are, they terminally stupid to think this lottery winner is spending his time here. I mean, look: most of the posts have the tag "Anonymous".

I hope you win the lottery so you are able to buy yourself a sense of humor :)

Should have never told anyone he won cause it's gonna happen. Someone in B'ville won $12,000,000 years ago and never disclosed who they were. That's the right way to do it.

Do y'all read? The very first line says "From the Georgia Lottery Corp." I'm sure they want it publicized so everyone will see how much he won and run out to buy their own tickets.

Bobby, remember the 25 cents that I loaned you in 1961? Well, 50 years at 6% compounded annually leaves you owing me $4.61. To repay, you may drop that amount into a Salvation Army Red Kettle to help those less fortunate than you.

dont worry about them. they have a neighbor that has the proper protection to make sure they are safe and if anything happens that he needs help protecting them he can call me or he has a long list of others he can call.

Oh, they'll be fine. The government will take 30% off the top I guess. Tithe 10%. Divide up some among the kids and build the nice new house then put the rest in savings. Sounds like a nice life to me and I wish them the very best.
