Lamar sheriff's deputies and agents of the Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at 131 Bulldog Court today, making one arrest and seizing four grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of marijuana, according to sheriff Larry Waller.

Bulldog Court is located off Unionville Road in Lamar County.

Anyone want to tell Mr Waller to raid the old "sammies gas station" any given night. I went by there last night on the way to work. Rain and all and minimum 20 ppl were out there. Im amazed everyday by something on the way out mill st.

Do you honestly think that they do not know who is at Sammies and what they do? Let the police worry about their business. Its not these little guys they are after, besides most of them are runners and dont carry the dope on them anyway. If you are such a concerned citizen why dont you offer to wear a wire and help the police out?

Funny that they went all the way to Bulldog Court at the county line, but like #3 stated obvious drug deals are happening right there in front of the police station. All the NTF needs to do is look out the front window of their office and they will find all the drugs they need.

I'm not impressed. Four whole grams of meth and an unknown "quantity" of pot means she is probably a recreational user.

Now that they have her arrested and her picture in public, they have pretty much ruined any chances of getting her to rat out the people they actually should be after...the people who sell her the dope.

Nice work on ruining any chance to move up the ladder! At least it is publicity and that is what really matters.

It is obvious to me the Sheriff is taking a step in the right direction. It is my hope that the origins of this drug is be found and the makers be prosecuted to the limits of the law.
Lamar County is not making a good name for itself with this type of action being allowed to continue.

im number 3. Lets keep busting the meth heads.. no doubt. Lets try to clean up the streets too while we are at it. Yea most of the ppl at sammies are drunks but a lot of them arent. I know for a fact.
Ok step by step.
Go down mill st. Right before the first church on the right. There is a car parked on the sidewalk. The guys that sit on the hood are always stopping traffic and running to the window. If they arent on the hood. Look in the car when you go by. They will be sitting in it.
Then after that street.. Look to the left. There is a brick wall about 4ft tall. Those guys that sit on that brick wall stop traffic on their side too. (back and forth to the windows) Watch the guys at the "car wash too" there is only so much that 15 ppl can do on a car wash job. Ive been in the area enough to know that it isnt just a bunch of friends hanging out. Ive stopped on the side to talk to a friend from highshchool and seen this stuff happen plenty of times. Especially when the pool room was open. Im not dumb and im not old either.
when you get to the end of mill st look at one of the last few houses on the left at the two tone caprice classic with blue rims. If he isnt there turn around and go to the car wash. This cat burns the streets of barnesville up runnign dope. He has been caught before somewhere over by cherry st a year or two ago.
I can name names all day long cause i know all of them. Even if i did it the editor would edit them out..lol.

Im all for busting all of them black, white, chinese etc. Clean the streets up first so that it isnt a visual thing. Then work you way into the labs, or dope houses.

it's sad that all that barnesville has to offer to our teen and young adults are No where to go and Nothing to do that's why barnesville has such a high rate of teens using and having kids of their own....i know im a recovering addict myself

It's sad that when Barnesville has a great Rec Center sports program, a vibrant Scouting community, a healthy downtown, and a growing college, among so many other things, that people still complain that there's nothing for young people to get involved in but drugs and crime. Maybe the problem isn't opportunities but in people not taking advantage of or appreciating what they have.

I grew up in this same town too. There was less to do then than there is now! I don't use drugs. I didn't have a kid until I was married and 34 yrs old. The bottom line is everyone is responsible for their own actions. You can choose to use, or you can choose not to. The excuse that 'there is nothing to do in this town' is just that, an excuse.

I noticed nobody has mentioned the old red apple gas station and the laundry mat on atlanta road. There has been alot of activity there or am I the only one that noticed it. It's not that bad anymore but it used to be awful. My washer broke and I needed to do some laundry but when I got there I turned right around and wore my flannel pajamas to school the next day. I have a young child and am no stranger to drug situations from my past so I find it hard to go around places that seem sketchy now that I have someone else to think about. I have heard enough stories and read, as well as seen enough news to be worried about raising my child in Lamar County. I am also worried for my friends children who are growing up in Barnesville. I hope that more is done about the blatant drug activity here so I won't have to worry about going places with my child as much.

I saw crackhead in the alley on market street tonight. that stuff is all over town not just a few spots. the only way to make it stop is bust dealers. follow the crackheads and they will take you to the dealers. arrest the crackhead and nothing changes. arrest dealer and things will get better.

I just dont get how people on here are saying what about all them that hang out at the store across the tracks... what about them? I mean good god people every crime that has been committed since the first of this year, and already there has been quite a few, have not happened across the tracks... they are all going down right here in the neighborhoods around town... I am not saying that what those people are doing over there around that BP is ok, because its not, but I am just saying dont try to centralize one location where people are hanging out, getting drunk and selling drugs as everybody says because hell it is going on all over this freaking county. BLAME, BLAME, BLAME is all people want to do when they commit a cry or get high on drugs... blah, blah, blah... nobody made these people kill or smoke dope, sell dope, supply dope to the little man, rob banks, and whatever else has went on down here.. YOU are responsible for your own self and it has pretty much come down to this,,, everybody in this county needs to pull together and get rid of this craziness. Some people here are working hard, single parents, college kids or adults, just all around good people who love Barnesville and want to be here and raise their kids here in this small town but with all this bullshit going on, it makes you want to pack up everything you have and move as far from this town as you possibly can. My daughter is graduating from Lamar County high school this year and all I want to do is see her go across that field and get her diploma and then my plans is to get the hell out of dodge before I end up in jail because somebody has hurt my kids or someone I love.

I went by the car between the church and funeral home at 3:30 am and smoke coming out of the tail pipes. I look in the car going by it and 3 ppl inside the car. WHAT! this is every night. What a bunch of idiots.
I challenge you to do the same. Are you saying there is nothing wrong with what is being done no matter what color or part of town it is on. If so i have no choice but to believe that you are involved directly or indirectly with the activities that are being done. let me know.

This is what is wrong with the Lamar county judicial system. If ppl were scared to even fart loud in this county because of the consequenses a whole lot of the this stuff would never take place. There have been ppl get probation probated over and over before in this county. I can mention names but the editor has deleted them before.
Meth, crack,cocaine,heroin,LSD, ecstacy, etc.....
robbery,murder,breaking and entering,car jacking, random shootings,child molestation, etc.....
these are some things that need to be a 0% tolerance on in this county. If you get caught you get the book thrown at you. if it cost the tax payers..... oh well. If we let you stay out of jail and you do it again it will still cost the tax payers and probably cost more in the long run because when someone shoots their sorry butt then a lonnnnggggggg trial is gonna take place.

If the jurors in this county would stop talking tough on crime and actually convict someone for a crime then maybe people would be afraid to openly sell drugs. I clearly remember the case where the teacher openly identified her drug dealer and the deal was caught on tape and all you tough on crime jurors out there let him walk free. I also seem to remember a child molestation case with an eyewitness and physical evidence of the act and that man too was acquitted by a fine lamar county jury. So if you want to be tough on crime do your job in the jury room and convict these people when there is sufficient evidence or they will always be out on the street laughing at the citizens who always set them free.

Just to set the record strait!!! 1.I wont be doing any time, 2.I'm not a user & have not been for 1 and a half years nor am i a distributer, @ 20 years old I am a proud profiting biussness owner, Licensed Realestate agent, and local bartender, and very well educated young women. 3.Kyle from barnesville, had me set up, in my home, this being the same guy who I helped and supported w/ doing something w/ his life and let live w/ me in my 4 bdrm home until he was able to get on his own feet. As far as my smilenig goes, I no this entire thing will be another small chapter in my life thats in the past,not to mention the entire thing was a completey ridiculous attempt for Lamars county Narcotics agents to feel like they did something great, when WOW!! they got 2 grams and a joint roach off the street, th@ I was completley unaware was in the house (thanks Kyle)When really they should be more worried and concerned about getting lbs. off the street, and the Big sharks in the ocean who distribute it to all there countys mothers, and sisters and brothers, and kids, aunts, bff....I cant even beleive that they even posted it being that they really did'nt get anything off the street, quite embarissing for the local narcotics agents who sit around all day wanting to clean up the streets, when really they just pissed me off and let someone like kyle run free for getting popped w/ a qtr. ounce..whos laughing @ whom and whos smileing so big...And look @ my pictures posted on my myspace page the day before, thats not a picture from someone on meth its a picture of someone whos been sprayed down w/ bugspray and given a towel 2 dry off!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell it to the Judge Honey,And can you pass a Drug test?...Of which should be mandatory when one is arrested on drug charges.I too believe in freedom of the press,but for the life of me can't understand why anyone would speak about details of a case that they were involved in;in a forum such as this.Evidently your Attorney hasn't advised you against such,but you probably will have a public defender.
