Bryce Arsenio Smith, 22, entered a guilty plea to robbery and will testify against his codefendants, Lekievius Eleby and Shameik Spinks, who are charged with murder and multiple additional counts.

What a shame! What a shame! What a sad situation! But every mean and hateful deed we do in secret will be exposed to the light and we never know how it will come back to us.

the truth would most likely be the thug culture he grew up in.

He got less than what he deserved...he only got a break cause he is testifying against the other two.

A VERY stupid decision was made on that night & not knowing(I don't believe)what the outcome would be. I believe they were going there to rob Mr. Danavan, which was definitely wrong, but I don't think anyone planned to kill him. Haven't we all made some dumb and stupid decisions in our lifetime. Maybe in your eyes not to this extent, but it God's eyes - sin is sin and no sin is above another sin. He who has clean hands, let him cast the first stone!

Somebody had a gun in his hand- regardless of the initial intent, MURDER was done that night.
Plain and simple. Murder.
That goes beyond a stupid decision.

I'm throwing one. sin is sin is sin... that is why we should not practice it. You all need to get serious about these issues and stop making excuses for this behavior.

Sin will cost you more than you planned to pay, take you futher than you planned to go, and keep you longer than you planned to stay.

So he got a plea bargain, but should have gotten the death sentence, or life w/o parole, just like the other two ought to get.

Wrong is wrong there is no justification for what was done all deserved to be punished, but for the record Bryce did not grow up in a thug atmosphere was brought up in the church was a good student never been in criminal trouble before just made a very bad decision one night that cost him big time can not speak for other two.

And fyi for your information Bryce got into some trouble in fort valley pertaining to drugs...so yes he has been in trouble before.

Bryce was in fact a great student and person. Very smart and clever. I was in his class. I never would've guessed that this would become of him. He has so much potential and I saw it with my own eyes especially in algebra class. I don't know Spinks but I do know Eleby was a troublemaker and I definately saw this coming for him. How and why Bryce started hanging out with them I do not know but I do know Bryce is not a thug and I do wish him the best! If he gets out of there I hope to God he uses every bit of potential he's got in him because I know he has it he just needs to surround himself with better people. Bless his heart. I don't see Bryce as being a threat to society, he was probably troubled at the time and this is a good wake up call for him and if he does get out perhaps this experience will prompt him to do better. I also belive in do the crime and do the time, you have to suffer consequences of your actions.. but you can also learn from them.

Bryce was in fact a great person. I never would've guessed this would become of him. I was in his graduating class and saw with my own eyes that he was a very clever person with a lot of potential, especially when it came to algebra class. I don't know Spinks but I do know that Eleby has always been a troublemaker and I knew this would eventually become of him. I don't know how or why Bryce started hanging out with the two of them but I have never known Bryce to be a thug. Bryce has so much potential and it's a shame he didn't immediately put it to use. I know that boy can shine if he surrounded himself with the right people. He needs a little polishing. I do pray to God that if he gets out of this situation he will use every bit of potential I know he's got in him. Maybe this experience will prompt him to do better. Perhaps he was troubled at the time and needed a wake up call. Bless his heart. I do believe in do the crime and do the time, and I also believe everyone should suffer the consequences of their actions.. I also believe they serve as learning experiences. I do give Bryce the benefit of a doubt.
