Nothing about the cop who had the wreck on the way to the scene. That's news too. What happened, did he spill his hot cup of flash foods coffee in his lap? Maybe they should offer free coffee at B & L.
Here we go with the blame game....why not place the blame on the CRIMINAL? Anyway, I'm sure the cops will catch him.
I hope that you eventually get over the flash food coffee runs..I can see it is driving you crazy.
That is what happens when you only have two patrol officers per shift at the police department. They are in desperate need of more officers so they can protect the city and all of its citizens.
How about a well armed citizenry. It is proven that thuggies and druggies are much less like to commit a crime where they know they are likely to get shot. If they can't put more police on the streets (like, one per household), how about they give all the good guys (and girls) a firearm of their choice? I'm ok with that.
Kimbo, I hope God decides that this punk's time is UP and he is not taken alive. I am sick of thieving punks. He will get his due one day. I hope his best friend blows the whistle on him. I am glad your wife is physically unhurt, although it will always cause emotional pain.
I hope they invent some new charges that fit this punk before his friend turns him over to Joe.
HOLD ON..... the world in going to hell in a hand basket ! Everywhere you turn these days someone is commiting a crime ! If we lived in a 3rd world country, they would hang or execute by gunfire within just a few months of being found guilty....but because we don't have those types of punishments here in the good ol'USA, no one is scared to commit the crime! .... All they will get is a pat on the back and told "now lets don't do that anymore!" I was personally involved in a bank robbery 7 years ago; to date the two that robbed us have never been arrested.....
This is why the second amendment is important. Businesses must start allowing their employees to carry or have access to a firearm to protect themselves and their property. If some of these thieves left in body bags instead of with loot, the crime rate would fall.
That's pretty bigoted of you to make an assumption like that. But, regardless, I would be ok with a few toeless store employees in exchange for getting rid of the thuggies out there.
I just heard that it was defiantly a skinny black man about 6ft wearing an orange toboggan mask. When he robbed the cashier, he said " haaaaaay, can you gives me all yo money and all yo cigarette please. He ran out the door and rolled his mask up and lit a cigarette. If anyone knows who this could be, please report them to the authorities at once.
I am sorry that this happened to your mom. People are rude and don't care as to who reads this. Just consider the source. I am glad your mom is ok....and you are right it could have been alto worse.
I am very sorry for the cashier that this happened to, she always treated me with respect. I went to B&L tonite and the owner was working I asked where the other girls were and she said they all quit. I am a regular in that store in the mornings and I go there because the manager is so friendly, she always has a smile on her face and she treats you like you mean something. I don't know if she quit because of the robbery or not, but I do know that yall are gonna miss her, she is the reason that a lot of business came in that store on the day shift. I know myself personnaly I will not go back in there until yall get her back. Employers should take care of their employees so I feel like whatever it takes the owners should take care of it and get these girls back or go out of business one.
To the cashiers...Don't let this jerk take away your freedom of feeling secure. Quitting your job is letting him rob you again. It is hard to go back after you go thru a robbery but Stand strong and don't let him take your security
It a shame and disgrace that a woman (someone's wife, mother, sister, daughter) was robbed at gunpoint in our small community yet so many people seem to be only concerned with whether or not this person was black. For Pete's sake, why does it matter? Criminals come in all races. What is horrible is that this woman could have been killed while she was out trying to make an honest living. Shame on those people who are only here to incite racism instead of offering compassion to the victim and her family.
I can't believe how mean some people can be. And i am so sorry that someones mom had to go through that. I can't believe most of you people are caught up if they were white or balck. A theif is a theif no matter what the color.
You are so true but statistics. Show that most crimes are committed by Afro Americans. All you have to do is watch the news PR look at mug shots in the paper. All the need is a hug...prayer and a father figure.
Oh, mean folks are everywhere. I feel kind of sorry for them. They must be sick inside.
So glad the cashier is ok, albeit frightened and out of a job now.
Really, anytime you walk away alive from a robbery or a car wreck, you've had a good day. It just takes a while to realize it sometimes.
God bless you.
Hmmm, there's a message in there somewhere, but since too much truth gets censored here, we'll leave the reader to figure it out.
Who was that masked man?
I hope that you eventually get over the flash food coffee runs..I can see it is driving you crazy.
Maybe (...maybe) not stupid. But certainly not articulate.
If you had learned your letters as you were supposed to, your statement above would looked like below.
We aren't stupid. You act as though white people haven't robbed anyone.
Run along now. Educated adults are having a serious discussion.
Eat S#!* Minnie don't burn no chicken gal. (The Help)
Does that mean eat numbers. I like alphabet soup. Is it going to become alpha-numeric soup?
Oh, now I get it. You meant number two, didn't you?
I do wish someone would pray for the dumpster baby who has no name and continues to use mine.
I hope they invent some new charges that fit this punk before his friend turns him over to Joe.
This isn't a racial issue.
Please, people: reading comprehension is not that difficult.
