Capt. Carole Sutton is retiring effective Jan. 31 from her position as jail administrator at the Lamar County S.O. She has 12 years of service over two stints with the department and 20 years with the Spalding Co. sheriff's office

Congrats to Carole on her retirement and congrats to Reggie for his appointment. These are two very fine people.

He has to be crazy to take that promotion that will be short lived, because when my buddy Joe is relected when are cleaning house.

Faith is always foolish to the faithless. Please know that his appointment and promotion is not by man, his elevation is from above. Regardless of who goes in, he will only be removed if it's Gods will, and if and when he is removed that will only mean God has a bigger and better plan for him.

Faith is foolish to the faithless. Please know that his appointments and promotions come thru man but not by man, they come from above. He is in God's perfect will so regardless of who is elected or re-elected will not change anything without God's approval. However, if it is His will and he is removed then he knows that it will only be because God has bigger and better plans for him. So, with that said, it is only a win, win situation for him.
