Christopher Hightower defeated Ronald Horton in today's special election and will assume the ward two seat on the Barnesville city council vacated last year by Annie Mae Harris.

10% of the voters show at the polls It must be a Irish day . Green beer and blue meth keep the voters standing on the street Oh felons dont vote.

The voters of ward 2 should be ashame of themselves with approxmiately 650 registered voters, only 67 and 11 of these were absentee votes to taken it upon themselves to elect a councilperson from your ward.

What's your excuse? It couldn't have been the weather as it was a beautiful day to get out.

Just how many people have given their lives in order for you to get off your lazy butts and vote?

This is a disgrace!

Wasn't one of these fellows in trouble years ago at the school for something? I can't remember what.

Hightower taught at LCCH. Not sure about any trouble. Horton has worked at UPS forever so I doubt he was in any trouble with the schools.

#5 that sounds real familiar to me. Im not 100%sure but pretty sure. I want to say he was asked to resign or something. Then went on to teach at flint tech i believe.
There was always something not quite right in highschool with hightower. Not sure if a couple of the students had something on him or what but definatly not 100% legit.
I always like Hightower though. Really good teacher and didnt cut any corners. I would take him again if i had to do it all over again.

Corrections "My Dear" it was not Mr. Hightower, It was Tyrone Bacon that got in the trouble. And how you are gonna say "you would take him again" but just finish saying that he wasn't right He never took sides, he is a good person and again WAY TO GO!! That statement is false as well. Former LCCHS principal Tyrone Bacon did not get into any trouble. Neither did Mr. Christopher Hightower. My fellow citizens, I beseech you to please use this forum as place of encouragment and not one of slander or confusion. Congrats Mr. Hightower! c/o 99
