A third serial church arsonist, part of a group of young men who vandalized and burglarized churches throughout middle Georgia, has been paroled.

14 years for a 551 year sentence, in other words there is hope that Brian Nichols will get out. Why give that many years if someone doesn't have to come close to serving them. What kind of message does this send to criminals?

you do not understand our system. yes what he did was aweful But get for real 100 Plus to serve. why would a judge sentence any one to that. Besides he is coming home with an ankle Monitor what can he do, but right.? I feel that he has served enough time to know what will happen if he messes up again. so lets pray that he has changed. there is hope for this man.

I have to agree with number one. What message does this send to criminals? It is my hope that the local law enforcement is able to keep a watch on this person. I hope some day the Parole Board grows up and acts like adults.

I have come to the conclusion that if you are physically ugly then you are prone to some sort of crime!

lol.. how many bryson smiths do you know. I only know one. Im sure he will catch the headlines one day.. Just stay tuned. He is on the right track..lol

The only Bryson Smith I know is 2 years old. So, who in the heck are you referring to?

Not sure about a 2 year old. How bout 22 or so years old. that 2 year old must really be bad for you to think that we are refering to him. GAH
Keep a lookout in the newspaper for coming up court cases. I think it will be under Jonathon Smith though.

This man did not committ murder, but since he lives in the bible belt was issued an insane amount of time. Since he has served the time, he deserves the opportunity to be allowed to earn a living, and to live his life.
