A woman was found shot to death in a vehicle this morning in a parking lot near Big Chic in Zebulon.
Reports are sketchy but the victim was reportedly a teacher at Pike County Middle School.
An employee at a business in the area noticed a bullet hole in a vehicle, approached it and found the body. Evidence, including cell phone records, reportedly indicates suicide

Is "Trouble" posting this because "Trouble" thinks the identity of the murder suspect should not have been released? What are the similarities of the case? A teacher vs. a murder suspect?
What you just said on this topic was very rude. Randy was my uncle and he was a GREAT guy and he LOVED his family,, You had NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER what he'd been going through. I'd appreciate it very much if you would delete your UNWANTED,SELFISH comment.
thank you.
Christy.
he was my uncle as well...he loved the Lord very much. nobody tok the time to help him, cause he was always helping others. i love you uncle Randy.

To Christy and P.J. I'm sorry that you lost your uncle. He may have been a great guy to you but he is a murderer. He may have loved the Lord but the Lord did not tell him to kill. Nobody took the time to help him? He should have been helping himself.
To the relatives of Randy, I apologize for the crassness of my comment.
But as the relative of 2 close suicides myself, let me tell you that your Uncle would have killed himself at some time no matter what happened here.
Perhaps he was coming home and would have barricaded himself in a home and innocent people would have also been hurt.
Perhaps he would have gone into the garage and someone who loved him would be the one to find him.
Perhaps he would have killed himself in custody.
The fact is, the outcome would have been the same.
The families of suicides are left behind with more questions than answers and a LOT of anger. And the anger can be directed toward others.
Now is the time for you to honor your Uncle who you loved by forgiving him for what he did, and showing love toward and helping your other family members who may be having trouble in life.
I hope you find peace. Suicide, no matter what the circumstances, hurts.
I have no sympathy for suicide victims. There are many ppl that cherish the air they breathe while they are laid up in a hospital room after being diagnosed with cancer and knowing they only have a few weeks to live. You have ppl like the person in the topic and other ppl that have commited suicide around barnesville that lots of ppl knew. Yea it sucks for their families but there isnt enough that could go wrong in this world for me to kill myself. When all else fails the Bible will always stand strong and give hope.
My wife and I have visited the town of Barnesville North Carolina recentley due to a Realtors MLS listing on a home that cought our attention.
We have been looking for a small sacluted cottage as deep in the hills as we could find.
The home that we came accross was listed on Little Creek Rd. about 20 miles off the beaten path.
The comferting feel and local acceptance from the town people made us feel welcome and right at home. As we persude the purchase of the home we found some startaling news that their had been a terable homaside/ suicide that had taken place in the home. Not long after, another couple purchased the home and did some much need renovations in the home and were quite happy living in their new retreat.
Shortley after they were both killed in a tragic car accident not far from their cottage.
My wife and I would like to know more about this home and its dark past...
We have grown emotionally attached to the home and its charming charicter but cant seem to perchase something that would play such a large part in our lives knowing its mentallyaunting past....
Its a shame that a local womans best advice was bags of salt and holly crosses placed threwout the home...
The more I think about it the more intreaged I feel...
If anyone has any info I would appriciate it..

James Pugh
