Another executive of the William Carter Co. has been targeted by federal prosecutors for fraud. Carter's was once a major employer in Barnesville, providing more than 1500 jobs. Then it kicked the community to the curb after the local government spent millions to expand water capacity for its operations here.
Ok, so tell me, is there still a Carter's Company making children's clothing? If yes, Where?
Shame on those people who do bad things like this to a business and it's employees, God knows and will deal with you in due time.
1500 jobs taken from a small town. You are two swine.
They should stay in jail until they pay the county $2 million and split the balance of $2.7 million balance by 1500 previously employed people. I am sure they each could use $1800. Oh yeah, did I mention building and opening a new plant?
Where would they get the money, you may ask? Who gives a Damn, I answer. From wherever they put it or from other crooks, if they promise not to roll over on them.
Or serve decades in general population with many POOR people? They would have the money in brief cases and new blue prints in the court room on the first day of court. Wanna bet?
